How can you go to Juventus and sign Arthur Melo when Zakaria was available for a loan. The boy can play, he is a capable Fabinho cover. He was available for free last year and we did nothing.
He is the only bright spot at Chelsea today and it looks like they will make that deal permanent.

Zakaria was already off to Chelsea and that is who Klopp wanted on deadline day at first. When that angle hit a dead end, he made do with Arthur which tells me, he didn't even want Arthur to begin win. Then begs the question, if he could settle of just a midfielder then, why had he been saying that it had to be for the "right player"?
And why didn't he settle for way better players if than Arthur or even Zakaria before hand? Just a guy engaging in deductive reasoning so don't mind me.

Melo was a loan signing because of injuries and the players we wanted being unavailable. He was never thought of as the answer but given that he was once one of the most sought after midfielders in world football we gave him the opportunity to see if he could get back to that. If not, the loan ends and we go and get a player we want. Seems like good business sense to me but some on here use that as a stick to beat the club with.
We weren’t to know he would get injured from day 1 and not have a chance to play were we?
Just have patience it will be sorted but this isn’t football manager you can’t just sign a player because you want to.

Moving to a club after the summer transfer window has closed requires patience, which he won’t get because it’s Chelsea. You have no preseason to get the players used to your style of play.
