*If* we sell Coutinho it's really going to cut a fuse in my system and fuming wouldn't be the word because yet again we'd be selling our best player and going back to square 1 when in fact we look like we are going to take huge strides in the coming season but by selling him it reiterates that the success we are hoping for won't happen anytime soon . I fully understand the business side of things in terms of selling Coutinho and in previous years of selling your best players to Real Madrid/ Barca but if we want success in ways of trophies i. e Premier League/ Champions League then selling shouldn't be an option.

Movement of players is normal in football 🤝.

If he wants to go let him go and get as much money as we can. No point in keeping unhappy players . Would love him to stay but if they sell it won't be because money is the incentive.

Yet when RBL say Keita is not for sale, we firmly believe we should press ahead, test their resolve and offer more money. we can't have it both ways.

If he goes, others will have to step up and show their quality. We are not a one man team and as much as I want him to stay, with Klopp at the helm we have a good chance of using the money wisely and improving the team.

even less of a point selling for loads of money when you can't get anyone to replace him.

If we sell Coutinho FSG has to go. We shouldn't be selling our best players the way we have since they've taken over e. g Torres, Suarez, Sterling. You don't see Chelsea, Man City, or Man United selling their best players. that's why they are challenging year on year and we are not. I am becoming more and more unsettled with their running of the club even if they did expand Anfield one good does not fix a tonne of wrongs. You could look at the amount of players we have brought in for big fees but look at those who have left for big fees. You are not improving the team by selling you best player and buying 2 good players to fix the problem postions.

Don't worry
about a thing
cause every little thing
is going to be alright.

Cyklopps let's not forget though, torres, suarez and sterling all forced their way out.

25 Jul 2017 15:39:49
Ashy they forced their way out because they saw better chances of winning trophies at bigger clubs with better players. That shouldn't be happening at Liverpool Football Club. We have 1 trophy in the last 10 years mate no wonder we can't attract the top players and we won't ever be able to if we don't keep our best players. FSG is only in it for the money they outlined their plans for the club at the very start, Buy exciting young talent, develop them and then sell on for a profit.

Cyklopps, The Torres deal was brilliant by FSG, coaches realised he wasn't what he was, he wanted to leave and forced it and we still got 50mil. We kept Suarez a year maybe even 2 years longer than he wanted and although it's a shame he's not in a red shirt, they did well managing that situation based on how he acted/ tried to force a move. Sterling wasn't and isn't one of our best players, he was just something we didn't have (pace and skill) . again he and his agent pushed for a move in a quite sly way. mane is twice the player at a much smaller fee. The other players we bought in I agree haven't all worked out at premiums, but stop blaming FSG for everything.

Chelsea and Man City bigger clubs than Liverpool.

Good grief.

Costa is going from Chelsea. United sold Ronaldo. De Gea very nearly went apart from a last minute hitch. It happens but it will happen more to a club that isn't winning trophies.
