Should complete the signing of another South American prospect in the next few days. Looks like the release clause has been paid.
22 Aug 2026 21:59:27
Any clues on nation, Billy?
22 Aug 2026 21:59:33
Who, Billy? What's the South American prospect's name?
22 Aug 2026 22:07:09
Orozco from Colombia. EUR6m release clause.
Cheers
DjimiT.
22 Aug 2026 22:18:18
Isn't he signed for United?
22 Aug 2026 22:24:00
Cheers, Djimi.
22 Aug 2026 22:25:15
Matias Orozco.
22 Aug 2026 22:26:25
18yr old DM from United academy. Well well.
22 Aug 2026 22:41:26
Yerma Selzavon.
22 Aug 2026 23:03:32
Jose Cuervo.
22 Aug 2026 15:23:06
I said it a week ago and Iβm saying it again, we are trying to sign Both Barcola and Mbaye!
I suspect we will hear something early next week, Hughes doesnβt do weekends π (thatβs a joke by the way)
Cheers.
22 Aug 2026 16:12:11
Minteh seems most advanced.
22 Aug 2026 16:17:17
It's just a matter of time for Minteh. I expect we'll hear more within the next 72 hours.
22 Aug 2026 16:41:36
72 hours?
Surely, you mean 4,320 Mintehs.
22 Aug 2026 16:45:30
This copycat style of pretending to be in the know is getting contagious and tiring. You are not saying anything new or anything that has not been said already by the in the knows we know and trust. Robbo, Carra, TF, Ned and VG. By all means comment, but why the "I told you weeks ago" style.
22 Aug 2026 16:52:41
Every 2nd poster talks now as if they know something. At the same time, not one person on these pages had a clue about our last three signings. Couldn't make it up. π
22 Aug 2026 16:59:53
Uchafu, are you a sensing person? Haha, somehow I'm sensing Mbaye will be ours too.
22 Aug 2026 17:05:24
Hearing it wks now, lad.
22 Aug 2026 17:07:44
Minteh is overrated in my eyes, but everyone's entitled to their opinion. Why don't we go for Sarr from Palace? Premiership proven, gets goals in an average side, rapid and a level above Minteh. No one has gone for him, tbf. Strange!!
22 Aug 2026 17:12:20
It was bound to happen with all this "ITK" and "IKFA" stuff going on, endlessly.
I told you so. πππ€£
22 Aug 2026 17:14:38
I don't believe any ITK other than The Truth. The Truth is always the truth and π― guaranteed because the Truth will set us free.
22 Aug 2026 17:15:25
Bless you.
22 Aug 2026 17:18:01
Minteh is in the top ten for various metrics across All leagues, including crosses.
22 Aug 2026 17:28:36
Where's the Truther when you need him? He is da man!
22 Aug 2026 17:32:13
I would prefer someone coming on and saying what the OP says, than the posts complaining about the posts.
Let everyone say their piece.
22 Aug 2026 17:42:33
Florian, I'm starting to wonder how many of the ITKs are rival fans on here taking the piss
Tbh, it'd be hilarious for a rival fan on here pulling our leg then watching the fallout lol.
22 Aug 2026 17:51:05
UchafuRED
Hughes doesn't seem to do many week days either it seems!
22 Aug 2026 17:52:51
May I give some unasked for advice to all these new posters asking for plaudits for "predicting" what is already in the public domain:
None of the handful of posters who have a track record in predicting certain signings ever seek applause. Not one of them starts a post with "as I said last week" etc. They give information just to be generous, and always put their hands up when they haven't predicted a signing (eg Munoz).
I say this with the best will in the world: there is nothing more unattractive than someone who blows their own trumpet, and those who seek to do so on the back of other peoples work.
Worth bearing in mind. When some of you join the workforce, you will find yourselves disliked by colleagues, and dispensed with pretty much immediately.
22 Aug 2026 18:00:24
A terrible brass band where they blow someone else's trumpet.
Barcola to be announced Monday with the full kit on pictures by tea-time.
22 Aug 2026 18:15:08
You only starting Faith? I've been that way since a load of them first appeared suspiciously close to the passing of Ed002. I don't pay no heed to them I just like the conversations after their pearls of wisdom.
22 Aug 2026 19:20:56
Can't tell my source, but he works with a guy who knows the aunty of one of the girls who works in the shop. Now she's told them that she saw the latest Amazon wishlist of Bezos whilst dropping some shirts off, and on it was Mbappe, Saliba (not injured, just negotiating with Lfc), Pedri, Olise, kavashaklaka.
Oh ye, n he crossed out Barcola and Mbaye, so it should all be sorted by end of the window, so just trust the process, guys, it's happening.
22 Aug 2026 20:06:14
Kopite, sure we'd get them in about 48hrs with Prime.
22 Aug 2026 21:25:15
Minteh offer was also sent out to send a clear message to PSG that Mbaye is not the only option we are pursuing and that Lfs won't overpay for him.
22 Aug 2026 14:17:00
Iβm hearing that Adam Wharton is currently on Merseysideβ¦. from a very trusted source.
22 Aug 2026 14:24:39
Just seen him in the Greggs on Tuebrook. Getting a bacon and egg and a latte, couple of those iced fingers. Doing his medical in a bit.
22 Aug 2026 14:27:19
At the Hill Dickenson stadium, perhaps?
22 Aug 2026 14:28:04
Or should I say "sauce"!
22 Aug 2026 14:30:21
The same Adam Wharton that Palace rejected a City enquiry from, saying he was not for sale, two days ago?
22 Aug 2026 14:30:39
Must have a twin brother!!
22 Aug 2026 14:32:01
McMurfo, I think you'll find he's tied up this afternoon.
22 Aug 2026 14:36:25
Just watching him warm up, no sign of the bacon and egg McMurfo.
22 Aug 2026 14:35:04
Nice one Mytton!
Is your trusted source the BBC website?!
π
22 Aug 2026 14:37:53
McMurfo and Burgher, well done, any others?
22 Aug 2026 14:48:00
He'd want to be or he's going to miss his match against Everton. π
22 Aug 2026 15:06:05
I was just having a coffee with him in moose ...
22 Aug 2026 15:48:29
I saw him down Edge Lane popping a wheelie on a rented scooter.
He said "alright laa" as he held up his can of pop.
It was a can of Barr Cola. Make of that, what you will.
22 Aug 2026 16:47:23
Mbaye the way. He was never in Greggs, it was all a joke. He was at the Hill Dickinson Stadium. π
22 Aug 2026 17:03:57
Palace stated ages ago they wanted to keep Wharton for another year so they are not selling. Which is a good thing really, cause they'll be looking on par with Elliott Anderson's price. May calm down next season and get him cheaper than that. Unless City offer them money they can't refuse now cause Rodri has left a massive hole in that midfield.
22 Aug 2026 18:28:46
Wharton rated poorly against Everton. While one game doesn't mean much, I've never seen him stand out in a match.
22 Aug 2026 13:39:21
Hi all,
Liverpool have not walked away from the Barcola deal. Absolute silly talk.
22 Aug 2026 14:22:48
If the Isak saga taught us anything, it's that LIV won't walk away without getting what they've invested months on. It just means we may be set to splash another record cash for the lad now. I still think it will happen. Thanks VGD.
22 Aug 2026 14:46:46
Have no idea why people are saying this, VG. I'm assuming the price push on Mbaye was the hold up due to double deal.
Getting Minteh in was smart as they've wanted him for ages and now they can say to PSG...
well we've got RW coming in and force the price they want for Mbaye... get the double deal over the line.
Are you expecting it to be announced Sunday? Feels right on timing.
22 Aug 2026 14:52:31
Not sure about that Ugbes, check out Diomande.
22 Aug 2026 15:00:56
I've no idea when it's going to be announced or when he's gonna fly for a medical. It feels like every time I hear something positive, there's some sort of hold up. Deal will still get done but I haven't a notion when it's gonna be pen put to paper.
22 Aug 2026 15:12:57
Maybe it'll be in January?
22 Aug 2026 14:51:32
PSG know that hinges and Edwards folded re isak last summer and are waiting for the same. Hughes doesn't do good value, he likes a good rogering
22 Aug 2026 15:29:12
Cheers, Victor.
22 Aug 2026 16:13:23
Ron, I believe Diomande and Rocnation sabotaged that move. PSG are not behaving unprofessionally. They know what they want and are sticking by it. Diomande was a relief for me, tbh. Imagine paying the stupid money RM paid for a 1 season wonder in the Bundesliga, who didn't do anything worthwhile at Leganes before joining Leipzig.
We may have dodged a bullet there. I still think we will see this one through.
22 Aug 2026 17:18:58
Diomande is going to tear it up and everyone is going to realise that he is a worldly who got away.
22 Aug 2026 17:53:35
Cheers, vg.
22 Aug 2026 18:51:02
The rumour weeks ago was deal agreed, to be confirmed when their new signings were confirmed. Then it was delayed due to not agreeing the payment structure or delayed to enable Mbaye to be confirmed at the same time. Basically, posters are making stuff up to appear knowledgeable.
As for all the posts on whether it would be announced last Monday, or Friday, or Monday next week. We could all pick a day and have a one in five chance of being right. Transfers are rarely announced at weekends.
So, where are we at.
I don't think we'll walk away despite the lack of a deal so far, but there's still a chance it won't happen.
Spurs will probably still be after Gakpo given their disastrous performance today. I think we'd still want to sell to part fund Barcola and Minteh so that will influence what we will pay for those players, and when we will finalise those deals if at all.
In terms of learning from Isak, I'd say we haven't learnt, but other clubs have learnt our behaviour and are exploiting it. That's why it's taking so much time.
22 Aug 2026 20:19:16
How did we cave for Isak? Newcastle were saying he wasn't for sale until the day before they sold him. They even put a statement out saying he wasn't for sale unless they got what they wanted, which by all accounts was Β£150m.
We waited until the end of the window and it was Newcastle who caved and let us have him for 25m less.
I know some of you want to find anything to criticise Hughes for, but at least try to make it a little bit true.
We lost out on Diomande but were still interested, just not at the price quoted. PSG tried too, but they got nowhere either. Does that mean they are useless in the transfer market too?
I listen to this constant whining about how bad Hughes is, but nobody actually has any real evidence of him doing a bad job.
It's just whining because he didn't buy the player you want or when you wanted it to happen. It's crazy.
He could've just given Newcastle Β£150m for Isak, Leverkusen Β£135m for Wirtz, Leipzig Β£135m for Diomande and PSG Β£145m for Barcola, but his job is to get the best deal for Liverpool, not just pay what the selling club wants.
If you were expecting Newcastle to ask for Β£150m for Isak, but sell him for Β£80m, you're in total dreamland.
{Ed001's Note - they didnβt cave and they did get what they wanted, you are talking utter crap. The only thing that made it take so long is they wanted a replacement, which they got late. It wasn't some powerplay by Hughes. You are so arrogant in your ignorance that you refuse to accept that you know nothing and believe, despite all evidence to the contrary, that you know better than everyone else. It is astonishing.}
22 Aug 2026 21:01:06
Why don't you say what you really think Ed π€£
Are you saying they didn't want Β£150m?
{Ed001's Note - I said that is not what they asked for. Your English comprehension is extremely lacking. I am sure they wanted much more, but they never asked for more. Doyou not understand why Edwards & Hughes never even got offered new deals?
22 Aug 2026 22:01:20
So why have they allowed Hughes to oversee another crucial summer transfer window instead of just sacking him if he's that bad?
I mean, if it's true and we could've got Isak and Wirtz for much less but Hughes is so bad at negotiating that we ended up paying more, why on earth would they give him the company credit card for another summer of spending?
Surely it would be cheaper to just get him out and pay him off than allow him another summer of crap negotiating and overspending?
Do you not see that your explanations make no sense at all? FSG are far better businessmen than you or I so they wouldn't allow him to spend another penny surely?
Unless Hogan has now taken over, in which case people should be aiming their wrath for the Barcola negotiations towards him rather than Hughes?
I've no doubts there have been issues and the club want a change but they must have faith that Hughes can handle the summer negotiations before he leaves otherwise he'd be nowhere near it.
You are totally correct by the way, I am totally ignorant to how good Hughes is at his job or how negotiations have gone for any players he's signed. i'm just looking at the information that's in the public domain and drawing my own conclusions. Isn't that all we can do?
You are totally ignorant to how negotiations go between Hughes and representatives from other clubs too so you are doing the same as me but our conclusions differ. That's fine. It would be boring if we all thought the same.
I'll accept my ignorance and my arrogance, I know who and what I am but I'd suggest, and I don't mean to be rude, that you are every bit as arrogant as me which is why you fly off the handle whenever anyone questions your opinion.
I think we both need to accept that we can't always be right all of the time.
Anyway, peace and love to you Ed. I realise you'll probably ban me again now because you can't have anyone questioning you and that's fine it's your site.
Take it easy mate, no hard feelings from my side.
{Ed001's Note - and what were they meant to do when they only stepped in too late to plan for the window? Along with them being in the middle of the sale of a large portion of the club, which would put someone else in a decision making position, who might want to bring in their own man as SD.
If I flew off my handle every time someone questions my opinion, I would be doing it constantly on every site. I rarely bother to even comment. There is a reason you are pretty much the only person Ed25 has asked to be banned and a reason I speak to you the way I do - because it is the way you talk to others. I just respond the same way you speak. I am not annoyed, you are irrelevant to me one way or the other, there is nothing to get annoyed over.
As for your idiotic comment about banning you for questioning me, I don't do that. If I was stupid enough to do that, there would be no one on the sites ever, as at some point everyone disagrees.}
22 Aug 2026 13:33:15
A couple of things.
The Barcola deal is not dead, it's been agreed but not announced. Don't forget we tend not to announce things of a weekend, plus there is the small matter of the first game of the season tomorrow.
Minteh, I still don't think this is happening. Not saying he isn't a good player, I just don't see us buying someone who is likely not to feature until December.
May as wait till January. It's also odd how it seems to be being pushed by a Gambian news outlet.
The club are expecting Spurs to come in for Gakpo before the end of the window.
Just to retirate, there will be a lot of duff links to players because it's obvious we need and are trying to bring a couple of players in outside of Barcola.
22 Aug 2026 14:18:55
Cheers the fields, we're almost there. We survived the transfer window.
22 Aug 2026 14:37:48
Cheers, TF.
22 Aug 2026 14:53:59
Mbaye is first choice, is moving but how much for and where it is yet to be determined.
Minteh blocks Rio's game time. Mbaye directly competes and motivates.
PSG make Edwards and Hughes look like David Moores in the transfer market.
22 Aug 2026 15:15:19
So, if the deal had been agreed and not announced, presumably, Barcola will not be training or appearing for PSG this weekend.
22 Aug 2026 15:15:21
Nice one TF.
22 Aug 2026 15:20:35
He's out of the PSG squad apparentlyβ¦..
22 Aug 2026 15:28:25
Cheers, Thefields.
22 Aug 2026 15:33:22
Barcola & Mbye are both said to be 'inactive' for their game at Rennes tomorrow, if that's any clue to what's happening, according to FlashScore, anyway.
22 Aug 2026 16:40:15
Baldrick, Mbaye is not first choice. It's Rayan. A deal is unlikely for him tho, but funnier things have happened.
I don't get the whole "he wouldn't of trained" narrative. Why wouldn't he be training? Not as if he is on strike or anything, and until it's announced he is still a PSG player. So he will train with the squad.
22 Aug 2026 17:20:22
Rayan with 15 games under his belt? And yet we are about to buy Minteh or
Mbaye? Why not wait, TF?
22 Aug 2026 17:21:06
Thanks, TheFields. ππ
22 Aug 2026 17:53:20
If the deal is done, then registration has been transferred to Liverpool, and therefore he would not be training with a different team.
If he's training with PSG, he is a PSG player.
If he's a PSG player, then the deal is not done.
It's as simple as that, I'm afraid.
22 Aug 2026 17:55:46
Cheers, TheFields.
22 Aug 2026 19:43:13
Ron, a deal being agreed is not the same as a deal being done.
I can agree a deal to take some work on, but until I get the contract, my solicitor has taken a look at it and then I sign the contract. It's not a done deal and the work won't be done.
22 Aug 2026 19:45:39
If we end up with Barcola, Rayan, and a really good midfielder, we can win the league.
22 Aug 2026 20:13:26
Yeah, I get that TF, an agreement is pretty meaningless.
Like agreeing a price for a house, then you have 4 months minimum waiting to complete, and anyone can pull out, or you can get gazumped.
22 Aug 2026 13:29:00.
Afternoon Gents.
Just returned from 2 weeks in Egypt. Hope everyone is well.
PSG have agreed to a lower up front fee for Barcola, and payment structure has finally been agreed.
I'd expect things to move quickly now.
Minteh fee is proving a tricky point at the moment, I'd still expect that to be done as personal terms, wages etc have been agreed with him and his reps.
I've heard a full Liverpool sale is due next year, FSG unwilling to announce at this time but it's looking very likely.
Also Liverpool looking at midfielder options.
Cheers.
22 Aug 2026 14:25:56
Hope you had a good holiday, Robbo.
Nice to see you back. ππ»ππ»
22 Aug 2026 14:34:07
Cheers, Robbo.
Any chance you could elaborate a bit more on who we are looking at for midfield?
22 Aug 2026 14:37:30
Cheers, Robbo. Hope you had a good un.
Any inkling of who the midfield options are?
22 Aug 2026 14:43:16
Read that the 1892 Consortium have an option to take full control within 12 months. No way they're buying 38 % not to exercise this.
22 Aug 2026 14:55:09
No FSP and with Bezos signing cheques... time to give up supporting a football team then.
22 Aug 2026 15:17:24
Cheers, Robbo.
22 Aug 2026 15:26:49
Cheers, Robbo.
Good to see you back!
22 Aug 2026 16:15:18
Thanks Robbo, hope you had a great holiday. π
22 Aug 2026 16:37:33
It feels good that all you itks are all on the same page with the deal being done for Barcola. Makes it feel like they want to wait till the games are out of the way now, so there is focus on that rather than the new players.
The midfield options. I really do wish they would go for a work horse in midfield who never stops, as I think we have enough technically gifted players and need someone to put themselves about abit. Any hope? Just my opinion obviously.
22 Aug 2026 13:12:36
Hi Diddly Ho,
As far as my source knows, Barcola is imminent - we havenβt walked away. My source is from the PSG side too, not LFC.
Clubs have agreed a fee and travel is still expected very soon.
Diddly out.
22 Aug 2026 13:25:19
Appreciate you, Neddy!
Regards to Maude, Eod, and Todd!
22 Aug 2026 13:25:46
Good on yer Ned.
22 Aug 2026 13:29:22
Rod! Not Eod - D'oh
22 Aug 2026 13:30:46
Thanks Ned, I wish some of the nay sayers could read!
22 Aug 2026 13:33:26
Nice one, Ned.
22 Aug 2026 13:51:15
Thanks Ned, humour me on this, if the fee is agreed, and the travel is sorted yesterday. What is the final hold up? Just from the outside looking in.
22 Aug 2026 13:52:16
Cheers, Ned. Be a wasted summer if we don't sign him.
22 Aug 2026 14:08:33
Cheers, Ned!
22 Aug 2026 14:26:51
Maude's dead man she fell from height
22 Aug 2026 14:36:45
Cheers, neighbour!
22 Aug 2026 15:27:13
Barcola photographed in training with PSG this morning! When did you say the flight was expected?
22 Aug 2026 12:48:35
Liverpool have walked away from the Barcola deal apparently PSG wanting to much money up front tjats why he's back in training then.
22 Aug 2026 13:01:54
PSG at some point will realise that they have around 7 wingers, and that Barcola, who is unhappy and has 2 years left on his contract, will not sign a new one, and they will sell for the price we are willing to pay. It just might have to be on the last day.
22 Aug 2026 13:04:00
According to Djimit, who posts on here, we have pulled out due to PSG wanting too much up-front payment structure and add-ons, so 6 weeks wasted chasing 1 player. Wow.
22 Aug 2026 13:14:15
It's probably just another negotiating tactic to see who will blink first. I feel the pressure has shifted from us to PSG, given that they've bought 3 forwards (Torres, Akhliouche & Godts) and probably need to move Barcola on. If they're being tight, it's probably due to the prices they saw the club paying for Isak and Wirtz last summer. It's not a lost cause going into the season with Gakpo, Rio, and Munoz on the left.
What is inexcusable is scrounging around for loans now for the right wing, given that Salah had already announced his departure in mid March. It really is incompetence, in my view. You can pass it around as much as you want, but the buck stops at the Sporting Director's desk.
22 Aug 2026 13:04:10
'sauce'?
He has never stopped training, He and Mbaye were just not on the bench/team line up for the super cup. But they both did not stop training as they simply are stiill part of the squad. keeping both players does not make sense for PSG as they already bought replacements, and will loose value given their contracts run out in 2028 if not mistaken.
22 Aug 2026 13:23:56
PSG will want to sell this summer as his price is only going to go down. So, think they'll be some negotiation going on.
22 Aug 2026 13:27:10
@Grav7,
You're trying too hard mate.
I trust Ned.
22 Aug 2026 13:33:04
I thought Tjimi said we pulled out of the Mbaye deal?
22 Aug 2026 14:10:02
This is simply not true at all.
22 Aug 2026 14:10:41
Clay, I'm only posting what Djimit has posted and what David Ornstein has reported, as a lot of posters on here report how reliable David Ornstein is. π€
22 Aug 2026 13:41:10
I've really had enough of these wannabes.
Posing as ITK and then citing DjimiT, of all people, to back up your claim, the lad whose nonsense posts have been relegated to the discussion page after he tried to discredit our Vic.
Let me get your coat for you.
22 Aug 2026 14:04:53
I think that Grav7 has forgotten what he wrote when he was logged in as Djimi!
Either that or his 'source' is this message board, just filtered for what he wants to repeat!
I'll be glad when the window is shut and the 'look at me's go back to school!
22 Aug 2026 14:24:34
Ornstein gave us a 66.6666 per cent chance of getting Barcola in, I'm not sure where he said anything about us walking away?
22 Aug 2026 14:27:13
Grav7,
Where in the world did you find that report from Ornstein?
Cant find that Djimit-tweet either tbf.
Ahhh can't wait till the windows closed.
22 Aug 2026 14:56:03
Wait till
Jan and get him on the cheap. PSG are one of the most difficult clubs to negotiate with.
22 Aug 2026 08:03:56
Possibility being floated around of Liverpool acquiring Brahim Diaz on a pretty hefty fee loan (15m ish) if the Minteh fee becomes beyond what Liverpool feel is 'good business'.
22 Aug 2026 08:44:14
Another RM player link! Is this just Marca b.s. or is Edwards Transfermarkt stuck?
{Ed001's Note - Edwards has left the club.}
22 Aug 2026 09:00:37
My bad, Hughes.
22 Aug 2026 09:17:11
Bling That kid Yankuba Minteh, Isak, Ekitike and will score many goals I believe.

I really like Brahim Diaz, but I just don't think with what we have already, he is what we need.
I know he is feisty enough, but we need proper physicality added to the team.
I much prefer Minteh as an option for us. On another team, Diaz would be the better option.
Same with Gavi. As good as he can be, he just seems a terrible fit for what we need.
I hope we get Minteh/Barcola over the line. Think it's a combo that makes sense for what Iraola tries to do.

The Fields did say there'd be a lot of noise about players that meant nothing tbf. I'd imagine this could be one of them. Decent player, would he improve the squad, possibly, would he improve the starting 11, not for me. Hard pass.

Feels like we're desperately scrabbling around like canned up 20 year olds at 01:55 on a night out.
Club needs to reclaim a bit of dignity.
22 Aug 2026 09:42:26
Showing your age there, Ron. Night clubs don't shut at 2 am anymore, haven't for about 20 years. Also you don't pick up ladies at a nightclub, it's all done on social media.

Is Chiesa really worse than all of these awful wingers we are being linked with?
22 Aug 2026 09:55:39
Yes he is, sn11188. He really really is.
22 Aug 2026 10:05:09
He definitely is @sn11188.
22 Aug 2026 10:24:32
I don't really think Chiesa can play on the wings anymore, anyway. His best position is playing through the middle the last 10-20 minutes of games.
22 Aug 2026 10:27:53
Fair enough Bobby B, but at least you get the reference.
Desperate to pick up any bit of spare before you get chucked out.
22 Aug 2026 10:31:09
Florian, he's played like 5 times in two seasons, often with long stretches without featuring at all, and then expected to turn it on. Mind you, this is from a person who defended Slot to the hilt.
22 Aug 2026 10:38:31
Only like 9 days left and we're actually weaker. Need to get a move on.
22 Aug 2026 10:43:55
Referring to Ron. We used to call them 1/4 too 2 birds ππ. Those were the days and I can see how we do seem to be acting like that in this transfer window.
22 Aug 2026 11:11:13
Oh, I remember those 01:45am birds, alright, and I still got turned down. Not good, even the guide dog barked at me. π

Frode Kippers, Chiesa is woeful and should be nowhere near a Liverpool squad. He wouldn't get a start at any other Premier League team. He's clinging on to the best contract he's ever had, robbing a living, and blocking a non-homegrown place in the squad. The sooner he is gone, the sooner people can emerge from their 2020 time warp.
22 Aug 2026 11:45:23
Edwards is responsible.
For this mess, his overinflated reputation was built.
Standing on the shoulders of giants.
This re build is going to need another reboot.
The defence is starting to look proper, and mf will
be decent when Alexis, Jones and Endo have been replaced with the right man and Trey.
As for the attack, Isak, Flo and Barcola are a risky, lightweight trio.
22 Aug 2026 11:56:25
What KemlynRoad said. It's getting as tired with Chiesa as it did with Nunez.
22 Aug 2026 12:52:04
Fair enough, Frode. Big Chiesa up so that you can disagree with me. Chiesa will be gone by September 1st, and that is best for everyone. Seems a good guy, works hard, but he is not good enough to be here.
22 Aug 2026 12:53:47
People hating on a Liverpool player is also getting tiresome.
22 Aug 2026 13:17:46
Β£15m loan fee for Brahim Diaz would be awful business. Absolutely woeful player him. One paced, no end product and a chippy attitude to boot. A man who managed a grand total of 1 league goal last season. If that's the best Hughes can do he should just leave now, quite how that man wasn't played on garden leave is ridiculous, any other club and any other industry he would not have been left to deal with the preparations for the season.
To go all summer and end up with dross like Diaz that shows we've learnt nothing and we are an absolute sh*tshow behind the scenes. I'd written the season off anyway given our squad shortcomings and this just further cements my views.

Tivolis was good to me all the same Bazza! π₯π₯³
