Hey All


My information from people involved at the club is that talks are advancing quickly for Barcola and the player is 100% convinced. ITK Space is correct in the fact that 100 million +20 mil in add-ons will get the deal done.

I am adamant, as I have multiple sources telling me that we are planning a double swoop with Rayan but Bournemouth's asking prices are a touch too high. Also the interest in Djed Spence and Pedro Neto is genuine.

Seems like a good deal in terms of the difference in fee, if we get him for the 90m quoted in the media and around 70m for Gakpo. It's a good move for Cody as well, he had a couple of good seasons with us and one poor one, good luck to him.



Be nice to start to see a shift in the squad towards an Iraola-shaped team with pace on the flanks and more aggression.

Rayan liked, but price could be a sticking point. Club have liked Neto for a long time, so if the fee was low that could also be the direction of travel.

I've always been far more excited about Barcola than Diomande personally - just think Diomande is too pricy at a young age and one good season - he didn't show much in the WC in my opinion and Barcola did.

Spain in the Semi Final versus France showed how to stop elite wingers.
The Paisley teams that won European Cups and many leagues back to back, and every other trophy, had Kennedy and Case as wide men, which proves, like Spain above, flying wingers are not needed.

Chelsea beating PSG 3-0 in the World Club Final is another example.

You could put an argument that Salah and Mane were flying wingers, and counter that by saying they only won one European Cup as a pair, compared to Case and Kennedy's trophy haul.

First time poster, after years of following right back to the 'Macca' days.

It seems Bayern Space now ITKBayern is saying Barcola is progressing with LFC.

He has muted €100 million fixed (£86.5m) plus €20 million (£17.3m) would get the deal done with PSG.

Not saying it will, but ITKBayern has been very accurate in the past.

In response to a fair and just comment from @redronson - I hold my hands high and said I was certain that Diomande would sign for us.

I will always say I'm wrong - if it turns out I'm wrong.

I also said, with certainty, that Barcola will not sign for us.

On both points, I have yet to be proven right or wrong.

I still hold firm in my beliefs, even with the introduction of RM into the mix; we will sign Diomande but will not sign Barcola.


I think we have come too far and put so much work into the transfer that we won't pull out now. I'll go one further and take a punt that we'll up our offer closer to what RBL want. If we don't, I'll happily take any criticism.

I think the ship truly has sailed with Diomande - no one credible besides this forum has linked us with him for weeks, particularly RB journos and PSG journos, whereas Barcola links are everywhere and constant. I know the mainstream media push stories often for clicks but such widespread activity or lack of activity in Diomande's case cannot be dismissed.

Diomande will go to Madrid or Paris, and Barcola is now our primary target. I respect the commitment to your belief John Barnes is God, and I believe at many points Diomande was close to us; however, his agency issues have probs killed that move.

I wasn't talking about you, mate. Don't worry, we can all make mistakes, but I'm not interested in seeking attention, just a fella who tries to give you infos. I don't earn anything from this. At the end of the day, the most important thing is focusing on what we love the most and that's LFC and try to do our best, all of us, to have infos on our market activity.

Let's just hope we sign what we need to reinforce the team, especially on the wings. Not a huge fan of Barcola, Akliouche or Diomande.

The first two I've seen play live for many years. Barcola didn't manage to get into the first team at PSG, and he isn't a 170M EUR player, his finishing needs improvement, but I guess that's the market today. Akliouche isn't a player for us, as I've previously explained in another post, so I pray we don't sign him. Diomande, just one season and already worth north of 100M EUR... I mean, how much would Gervinho or Jay-Jay Okocha be worth? Too much pressure on the fella, proven nothing yet.

I think we have walked away from Diomande, it was too much money for a kid anyway. He wants PSG ao, unless they can strike a deal, he may then have to take another option whether it's Madrid or whoever. The only way we sign him now is if Rocnation come crawling back and RB accepted a lower bid which won't happen.

Barcola for me again is too much money but he is looking more likely, perhaps the sale of Barcola funds Diomande.

If it is true that Barcola has made it clear he wants us, then I want him because that's the attitude I want.

Rayan, again I think Bournemouth will want stupid money for a player that we've only seen 1 season of. This would need to be a sensible deal upfront with a heavier performance based add ons kinda deal.

I think Akliouche is a very very good player. However, I don't think he is really a winger. Diomande is far and away the best player of the three, but with all the issues getting the deal done, he appears to be more trouble than he is worth.

Barcola, though I am not a massive fan, has elite level pace, which is something we desperately need, and even if his finishing can be haphazard, he consistently gets into very dangerous positions to create or score every game I've seen him play.

I'm getting bored with the continual chatter about 'what the ITKs have or haven't said. It's not even a conversation about football anymore.

As a fan of Liverpool, I'm really happy when people provide rumours, opinions, information and / or knowledge. That's what the rumours page is all about and long may it continue.

But, the increasingly endless 'he said, she said' is nothing to do with rumours, it is people who can't distinguish chatter from immutable facts, just sad.

I'm sure it won't stop as people cite their favourite ITKs as the reason they access the forum but surely, when all's said and done, the lesson learned should be, take what's written with a pinch of salt and try, really try for God's sake to realise that the club will be the one with the definitive statement that players have been bought or sold.
