Hi eds just wondering with the much improved results of late are the club still looking into possible managerial replacements come the summer? We all know about the transfer commitee but who has the final say? Rodgers does seem to have found a way to utilise the squad and we are getting results thanks.

{Ed002's Note - Nothing will have changed - the business are reviewing all aspects of the club.}

They would be mad to get rid of Rogers, one of the best managers in the PL. As Jamie Carragher said on sky after the game that Rogers should take a lot of credit for the way we are playing now. And before you BR haters come on here saying we should have started the season like his, then you should stop to think that all the new players needed time to get used to each others play and more importantly the way Rogers wanted them to play ( which looks to me like the most entertaining football seen at Anfield for a long time ) Give him credit for finding a formula for the players he had. He never bought Can as a defender or Moreno as a wingback but has turned both into those positions to beneit the team. Who else saw that coming

He gets credit for the entire season, not just the good half. When the season is over, decisions will be made and I think our final position will determine his fate.

Does it not bother you at all that we are capable of displays like today, yet bombed out of the CL and in the beginning of the season were awful?

The start of the season he constantly changed the team to play his favorites.Continuity was forced upon him through injury.

Rodgers is far from the best manager in the prem more like one of the worst, but on the other hand he is an excellent head coach!!! You seriously need to grasp the difference between the to.
Hates a very strong word my friend it's not that people hate the guy more the fact they wish he'd learn from his stupid mistakes and lose his ego.
If the fella learns and next season we move forward with Rodgers then all is good, but we also may well move forward with a new head coach. I for one will support the club and coach and if it is Rodgers there then hopefully he learns and we are challenging for the title next season.
For now tho our target has to be 3rd or 4th and the f.a cup, come on you reds!!!!

My sentiments exactly, Knuckles and RDL! During the post-game show here in the U.S, the pundits (including Robbie Mustoe, former Boro player) said that LFC under BR hs lost just 4 of 57 games if you combine all the games in the second halves of the 3 seasons he`s been here. That is a damning stat, IMO. Why? because he seems to be able to do the right thing only half the time when all else has failed. Is it too much to ask for a manger who can do things the whole time? I want BR to stay as well because we play excellent footie under him and we can do great things together. BUT things need to change and HE needs to change and allow others to come in and help him because the man can coach and that fact has been proven. If he is not ready to do that then I`m afraid he would have asked for the sack at that point.

When rogers came from Swansea, i wasn't 100% sure, he did extremely well last season, we have to ask how much of that was due to an inform Suarez who was unstoppable??

We had a terrible start, He changed things around constantly, let his ego take over. I wanted him out as it looked like we would never score at times let alone win. I did post though i hope he proves me wrong and he has.

He looks like he's a little less stubborn, he's still a young manager let's remember. I hope he is learning that he doesn't know everything and understands that not changing certain things or don't fix what is broken is bad!

I personally like rogers and he seems to have sorted out our defensive tactics just about. But i think maybe bringing in a DOF who's experienced to help with the overall running/transfers and offers support/insights and also helps the owners as they aren't big fans, then if rogers is stubborn the DOF can step in and help sort out the matter. I think Rogers would benefit a lot from working with a DOF if his ego doesn't get in the way.
