If you could change one thing about football what would it be?

If i could change one thing it would be to ref it like rugby!
All players to show respect to refs absolutely no swearing back, only captains talk to refs unless told to by the ref, we get to hear the refs talking to VAR and linesmen.
What would yours be?

Longthing I’d change the draw rule. If there’s a draw then both team get zero points.

Imagine every team going out trying to win a game of football and not having a week long game plan of setting up for a draw.

It’s the only sport I follow that a pre meditated draw result is regarded as the aim.

OP, there used to be a rule in footie where if a player actually touched a ref, he got booked. I hope they bring that rule back.

I didn't see United vs Spurs. What did Ronaldo and Fernandes do? If Ronaldo kicked someone while on the ground then Ed14 needs to realise that he seems to be allowed to do this. Just ask Trent.

Use VAR to look at grabbing and pulling in the box from corners. The one time they did (WC 2018i think) they virtually eradicated it by the end of the tournament.
