One thing that gets on my wick is people saying we spent this on X and we didn't buy Y for this.
We value players, and if the selling club want more then we have to see if we think it's worth it. Just because we have money doesn't mean we throw whatever it takes to buy the player.
If we are going for choice A and we bid what we think he's worth, and the club say no, we either raise our bid or move on. Just because he is second choice, we may value this player higher, so bid more than the original bid for player A.
Just like people last year saying how can we buy gini for 25 but not chilwell for 15? rant over lol.

Nice one fencey, fully agree. Fans should just ateer clear of speculating and debating transfer fees. Its an endless argument that no one wins!
