6times - the mess with the CBs came after we lost all our senior CBs and then we bought in the next window. Every other club in the world would have had to do the same cos they don’t stockpile players for the sake of it.

Liverpools bench last night was terrible. It’s really strange how quickly a team can go from looking great to being in need of an overhaul after a few injuries. That bench last night told me we weee going to lose. Then when I saw Trent strutting about and kicking it to the other team, I knew it was going to be a long night. Trent is the main problem in my opinion, and I’m sorry but Joe Gomez should never be in a starting line up for Liverpool. He simply isn’t good enough. Can’t play the offside trap we play. Trent can because he’s usually in the other half passing it to the other team. Been a bad few weeks. But hopefully some key players will start coming back. And maybe we can sign a few defenders and a midfielder in the next few windows. Top 4 could be tricky this season, but if it’s only a blip, then so be it. I’d rather that, than panic buy and be linked with every player in the world.

Actually Faith, the next window after the brown stuff hit the fan with defenders was the winter one where we bought Davies (a transfer I still get) and loaned the Turkish spitter. We didn’t actually buy properly until the season ended.

The club may not want him Ed, but it’s clear to any reasonable observer we need a player like that.

Meg, Bellingham is massively over rated. He’s terrible defensively and doesn’t seem to fancy that side of things.

Being critical of Keita isn’t slagging him off. He’s hardly been worth the money we paid for him. And it was ironic after his agents had briefed the press about his “unhappiness” at not getting minutes on the pitch that he miraculously injured himself.

As for Bellingham, saying that he’s not all that isn’t slagging him off either, it’s simply pointing out that there are large deficiencies in his game. If he wasn’t English he wouldn’t be getting as much hype as he does.

There's bound to be deficiencies in his game, he's a youngster. But I'm inclined to agree to a degree about him being hyped because of his nationality, but there's still potentially a tremendous player there.
You haven't had a good word for any player mentioned since Monday night, our own or potential signings. Things may even get worse before they get better, but get better they will.
Do you look forward to the next game or dread it?

While we supposely wait for Bellingham next season,who can we get to strengthen our midfield now before the window closes De Jong maybe, haven't seen much of him, Tillimens (spelling ) or the Brighton player, any thoughts.
