Looks like it might happen although the bookies still have him odds against to join, and they are normally spot on.
What are people view on him, I know a but key fan who rates him highly and he's stilla Young lad who should get better.

People on forums (not necessarily this one) wanting Benzema etc and castigating us looking at players from smaller clubs forget where players like Rush and Aldo came from. Not saying Ings is or isn't in that potential bracket; just annoys me when people automatically write people off and put the club down for not getting so-called marquee signings.

A front three of Ings, Sturridge and Origi would be superb. I for one have kept a bit of an eye on Ings and would much prefer him to the intoperable Berahino.
Whilst everyone was raving about Berahino doing so well last year Ings was consistently outperforming him in the England U21's.
And why try and get and get him now as opposed to on a free in the summer? Because other big clubs will make a move in the summer and Liverpoop would perhaps like to cancel the circus that ultimately ends up in us losing out again (Willian, Salah, Eriksen) by getting it sorted now.
I would back that forward approach, Origi, Sturridge, Lallana, Coutinho, Stirling, Ibe, Ings. that's a fairly young and dynamic midfield/forward squad.
Just hope the paper talk is true!

Good morning.
Am i right in pointing out that, although Ings contract will expire this summer, because of his age, Burnley will be entitled to some form of compensation?
So not so much a "FREE" signing.
