hi ED02 . could you give some info about this tribunal regarding Ings transfer fee.
what are the basis of Burnleys evaluation of more than 10 million pounds and is it fair?
Why does Liverpool have to pay such high fees even though Ings contract was finished.
Is it because of the money spent by Burnley on his development?

{Ed002's Note - The date, as far as I know has yet to be set - but it will be in the New Year. The Professional Football Compensation Committee will be formed to listen to cases put forward to justify why Burnley want what they do and why Liverpool only wish to pay a lesser amount. The members of the tribunal will typically include an independent contracts lawyer as a Chair, a representative of the leagues that the clubs play in (EPL and Championship) and two footballing representatives (probably one from an EPL side and one from a Championship side).

The onus was on the clubs to agree a fee and Burnley would have settled for something in the region of £7M-£8M. Liverpool initially offered £4M and eventually raised the offer to close to £6M. The Burnley figure of "£12M" is unconfirmed and speculation based on an offer Spurs made for the player.

The tribunal will take account of Ings now being a full England International. If I had to guess I suspect they will settle on a figure around £8M or so.

The reason for compensation being required is because the player is under 24. Burnley will have to pay part of the compensation to Bournemouth.}

Ed02.I had read that they couldn't take the fact that he was now a full England international in account as this only happened AFTER he joined Liverpool. They could only look at the player he was etc while still at Burnley.
Does this make sense?

{Ed002's Note - No, they can and will take it in to account.}

will the fee be made public ed or will it be "undisclosed"?

{Ed002's Note - All fees are in the public domain as they have to be registered with UEFA.}
