I really do not rate lallana, he doesn't poses the ball control to play in one of 3 attacking positions. Plus he's slow.
Lucas not in the team is really showing today.

A lack of striker is what's clearly showing. Lallana's touch is brilliant.
The problem isn't Lallana but we have been awful in Midfield. Allen and Gerrard have been appalling.
Get Can in midfield he is a machine.
All lallana does is loose the ball every single time he gets it. 1 good game in 10 doesn't make him good.
I still rate Lallana, but he was poor in the first Bolton game, he is to easy to be pushed off the ball, and bolton were always going to be to strong for him, but look we won in the end, and were on a very good run .

Suprised at how mamy people think Allen and Gerrard were awful. I thought Allen was very good. Always looked to go forward, cleared a few from our box and made a couple if good tackles. Same for Gerrard really. His set pieces were awful but he always looked to go forward, got back well and also made some great defensive contributions. Neither offered too much in the final third but that wasn't their job. Coutinho and Lallana created plenty of chances.
I thought we played really well tonight. The officials did their best to put us out with some dodgy offside decisions, a shocking penalty call, poor general decision making etc but we came through it all and beat a dirty, time wasting team that hasn't lost at home in about 20 games.
Lallana is just not fit.
When he is fit he looks more in control of his body.
Bambi on ice tonight but he will improve with more games like he did last time after injury.

Allen did what's he's supposed to do in CM; pass, press and win the ball high up the field. Remember he was playing alongside Stevie in CM also .
Disagree there, EMS. Allen was and is not what we need and that was AGAIN proven today. He was ineffective just lie SG because we were so slow in midfield and pace is what they both lack.
Allen always looked to go forward is this a joke, i cheered everytime he actually kicked theball forward and that was only 5 yards but don't worry he did something in game he got a yellow card!
