Did anybody else think Henderson's goal last night had a touch of the Gerrard half volley vs Olympiakos about 10 years ago? A rising ball beautifully controlled by hitting across it is order to send it right into the bottom right with too much power to get near it.
Hendo now has 5 goals and 12 assists this season. I think only Sterling has been a more effective player in the final 3rd For us.
Hendo probably still has his doubters, but I never have been and never will be one of them.

I'm glad he's learnt to shoot in a straight line finally it was a big piece missing from his game.
He seems to be loving the reaponsibilty of captain and the freedom he's got not covering for Gerrard all the time.

Read an interesting stat this morning on Yahoo Sport or something (haven't checked it though). 'Whilst wearing the captain’s armband, Henderson has played 12, won 10 and drawn two matches.' Amazing stat if its true.

Seen a few stats lately. Barely lost when sakho has played, Lucas speaks for itself and our win % when coutinho plays is vastly different as to when he doesn't. All key players.

A player becomes a class act when he consistently plays well. Henderson seems to be having his own purple patch and that's helping the team. I hope we get to see similar performances from him regularly

When he just got here, he was scared and played scared to the point the he actually used to hide during games and would not tough the ball atimes for certain periods during games. Complete change in attitude and commitment. He has grown a backbone and taken on the challenge that was b4 him, rising to the point of us not being able to play w/o him and potential rise to be captain of an institution that is LFC. Credit to him and a role model for kids that shows what you can achieve if you work hard, don`t give up and wait your turn because your time will come and when it does, TAKE IT!!
