Interesting statistic: out of all football managers in the world, Rodgers is nr 9 on the list of top spenders since 2004. When you consider he's only been in the top flight since 2011 that stat is nothing short of shocking.

Where are Dalglish and Benitez ?
For a club without a multi billionaire sugar daddy backer Liverpool's spending per premier league point is awful.
So much more could and should have been achieved for the vast amounts of money that's been spent and putting the clubs very existence in question, now that really is shocking and a different way should be tried.

Back then you could buy a stevie g for £20million now a pougba is an estimated £70million. not the same type of player i know. Attacking players are usually more expensive So what would he have been worth in today's market.

It isn't rubbish though. Brendan's record in the transfer market doesn't even reach the dizzy heights of abysmal. He's spent an absolute fortune in a very short space of time (over 100M in less than 12 months alone) and has very very little to show for itother than mostly dross.

Why is it rubbish? All we are doing is stating facts which completely support the notion that BR is a failure in the TW and even the owners knew this after his first two years hence, the commitee. If you cannot handle facts then don't join a conversation discussing them especially if you don't have the energy to do so
