Now danny ings get in there, I know he divides opinion but you really must watch him a little more, I've seen him a lot in the England U21s before he was on anyone's radar and I was impressed with him then I wondered who this young English striker was of course he has a lot to learn but this English nucleus we are developing is so refreshing to see, everyone knows if you want flair your go outside England but if you want passion pride, grit and determination you go English and we have that in abundance welcome to liverpool danny boy.

i think it is pretty safe to say we can now let sterling go. we have signed two English players of decent quality. I think Man City will offer us a good deal pretty soon. I hope its all cash and doesn't include players like dzeko, jovetic, nasri etc that Man city want to get rid off.

Ings is a very good finisher, and will score plenty of goals for us.

Decent player. Good touch, good movement, good in the air and pacey.
A low risk signing, just like Milner IMO.
We need to start selling soon too.

I know what you mean about passion, pride, grit and determination I witnessed that myself yesterday against Ireland.
Ings is a good option though just hopefully not as our main striker.

Ings comes in and i assume the club are looking at bringing in a more experienced striker so that means Balo, lambert, Borini, aspas and alberto are all out of the door assuming we can find buyers for them. Would not be surprised if the club were looking to loan out Origi again as he will not want to play 4th fiddle to Sturridge, new striker and Ings.

I think we need better than Ings, don't see how he's better than what we already have. If he signs I'll support the lad and hope he succeeds. BR will hopefully give him a run of games upfront instead of wingback.

@Lavers, are you joking? The only players who showed any passion and pride yesterday were Wilshere and Coleman. Everyone else had a poor game. Rooney was absolute muck :)

Ferdinand, Smalling, Jones, Carrick, Cleverley, Young, Welbeck, Rooney. Also Fletcher (who is Scottish but still British).
So literally 2 years ago a very English team won the title.

Ings is not a clinical finisher mighty! He's no upgrade on borini and he never got a game. Waste of time!
