Question more directed at Ed001.
Any knowledge as to why we bothered signing Ilori? I can't for the life of me think why he's got absolutely no opportunity in the first team, considering the amount of money we paid for him & effort to sign him.

Isn't he still just that? I know he's had injuries but are there any other reasons (attitude?) why he's not being given a chance?
{Ed001's Note - he is still just that. He has not been given a chance because Rodgers keeps bringing in first team defenders for big money rather than trying to coach the ones we have.}

Isnt he like lovren, a right footed lcb. If he is with sakho and lovren now too play there, he isn't going to get a game.

Our young defenders as well as our defensive issues are "uncoachable", according to The Nose. Have you forgotten, Ed?

Ohio, according to the Nose it's also easy to coach teams to defend, remember after Jose had stitched him up like a kipper at our place 2-0?!

Talk about a politician having it both ways. On one hand, it is easier to coach teams to defend YET he can't and hasn't fixed our defence in three years and counting because suddenly, our defenders/defensive issues are uncoachable. Only FSG can explain to me how he's still in a job. He is right about one thing as in, Skrtel is the only defender that is uncoachable who ironically, is one of the reasons we can't defend
{Ed030's Note - How someone getting paid to manage a football team, let alone a premier league team Can spend vasts amount of money on replacing every defender in the team bar Skrtel then call the defence uncoachable. Whether the defence is uncoachable or not it is his fault as has brought all of them defenders to the club. Either way it is his fault. }
