Thanks Teddy, I almost expected a link to a 1980's PG Tips commercial. :-)

Ron, do you still back Rodgers? Not spoiling for a fight, genuinely interested in why you would grant him another season. Cheers

This was not the link I posted . it must have been blocked or something

Teddy, the link worked ok when I used it.

On Rodgers: Yes I still support him. That will remain the case as long as he is LFC manager, save for exceptional circumstances.
He wasn't my choice at the time, but he's here now and I think he deserves more time because of what he achieved in 2013/14. i.e. Thrilling attacking football the best I've seen since 1987/88 plus the closest we've come to winning the title since 1990.
Some will counter that 2013/14 was all down to Suarez. I'd have 3 comments about that: firstly, Suarez missed the first 5 league games (6 in total). Secondly Suarez credits Rodgers with his success at LFC, if you read his quotes, and the statistics support this. Rodgers was instrumental in keeping Suarez in summer 2013 and got him to play at that high level despite his 6 game ban and keeping a player against his will. Not many managers have achieved that. Thirdly, I would say look at all the other unexpected amazing performers that season : Hendo, Sterling, Sturridge, Flanno. He even managed to create a schedule to keep Sturridge fit which was ruined by team England last August.
Everything he did wrong in 2014/15 does not cancel 2013/14 out in my opinion.

{Ed001's Note - to be fair only the clueless were surprised that Sterling, Sturridge and Hendo played well. Though in Hendo's case he was just a target for boo boys for some bizarre reason. Flanno is the only unexpected one really.

As for the rest, this season he will have no excuses, now he finally has good coaching staff to work with. Fingers crossed.}

I agree he has no excuses, another poor season will be 3 out of 4 and time for change.
