With all the recent stories about Sahko leaving, it got me thinking.
A lot of the players that we seem to be offloading every year are players that have been purchased while Rodgers has been at the club. They also didn't exactly come to us cheap.
We have FFP(although relaxed slightly) still hanging over us and it's been mentioned on numerous occasions, that we're taking on more and more debt.
Surely this is a huge concern for the club? Especially if we're paying huge sums of money for players that are here for a year and then shipped out at a cut price or on loan.

{Ed001's Note - yes it is a concern, which is why they tried to resolve it by appointing a transfer committee.}

One of Rodgers' many deficiencies. Buying players and playing them out of position is another. Hopefully some lessons have been learnt as we haven't seen too much of that this season.(yet)

I don't wish to seem doom and gloom, but the Transfer committee doesn't seem to be doing anything to solve the issue's. We're still paying £20 million for CB's that we don't use and £18 million for LB's that we don't use, not to mention the fact that we had 3 strikers last year, none of which got a look in(Studge was injured so not included) yet 2 of them were signed that season.
It was only in 2011 that we so very nearly went bust, why are we not learning our lesson?!
