Ed001 what do you think of the European draw?What sort of team would you field?

As ed says full strength try and win the first 3 then rest a few for the remaining group games.
2 games a week early on shoudnt be a problem.
Rodgers on the other hand will probably chop and change first 3 then be in the mess play full strength and injure players.

Liverpool have a huge squad and talented young players. I cannot see any problems with dealing with this, and still winning the group.

Even if we play our current "B" team it will still feature the likes of moreno, toure, ilori, allen, ings, origi, possibly lallana and lucas, the depth we have is incredible, all quality players. If you take lucas out of the team that played arsenal and put in Hendo we could have a fully rested team of bogdan, toure sakho ilori moreno, lucas allen lallana texiera origi ings, and that doesn't even take into consideration the return of flanagan and sturridge, or rossiter for that matter

There are 5 opportunities for qualification to the champions league of which winning this is one of them.
If this is the rationale for success then we need to take this competition seriously, only superseded by the league.
