I don't ever post on this site but felt I had to share some inside information coming out of anfield. My source tells me that Rogers has been given until Christmas to see if he can turn things around, if not Klop is waiting in the wings thus explaining why he decided to take time out of managment.

"My source" ??
Would that be Twitter, newspapers or the little voices in your head?

No offence mate, but the eds have explained already that rodgers is walking on thin ice this season.
I think the real question is what do they mean by turn things around?
How far do we have to be off of top four pace for the owners to pull the plug at xmas?
Personally I think if we are more than 6/7 points away from fourth place at xmas and a good quality manager is available, br will be replaced.
And I think the eds reckon lfc did not approach klopp this summer, so I don't see how he can be waiting in the wings?

We won't change managers at Xmas unless we are having a total unmitigated disatster and are facing the relegation zone, or death/serious illness. It is far far to expensive and even more disruptive for major clubs to change managers mid-season. reality is we are stuck with Rodgers until next summer - get used to the idea.

My source tells me that Rogers has been given until Christmas to see if he can turn things around, if not Old purple nose himself, SAF, is waiting in the wings thus explaining why he decided to take time out of management. Oh these voices, these voices: where's my medication?

Personally think if we are not in the top ten after ten games he should be sacked I don't think that's an unreasonable target.

Wow everyone here are very quick to tell someone they know better than him. And of course the old famous the Eds didn't say it so I am not willing ti listen to anything else because they are God and know everything. The guy said a source in the club tell him this is the situation. Maybe he tells the truth. let's get to Xmas and see. I am very confodent we will not be in the top 8 by then. If Klopp is indeed willing to come, waiting and not bringing him right away is crazy.

{Ed002's Note - It is bullshit. You obsess about Klopp whilst I have explained there are things happening with Klopp in the background - including discussions with other clubs. It is nothing whatsoever to do with Liverpool.}

To be fair ed, I don't obsess about klopp, I just obsess about Rodgers gone!

There is a european page as well on this site guys. Ed'002 was very kind enough to give an update on him.

Here it goes:-

{Ed002's Note - There is nothing new with Klopp. He is taking a year off and he knows that there is interest from a couple of clubs for next season - one of which may look to have him work in a silent capacity for perhaps the last three months of the season as part of a handover. He either has just or soon will be offered a job which he will decline.}

Cheers

ED02 has said repeatedly that Klopp was never an option and was never approached so your source has been teasing you.

{Ed002's Note - Since I wrote that Klopp has had a second off which is still the matter of discussion - but it is nothing to do with Liverpool.}

Well we will all know for sure what happens with Klopp when he signs somewhere eventually. And one day in his autobiography he will probably say if he was or not interested in LFC. There were a lot of informal messages from his people that he was interested. If it was obvious he never wanted this job he could say it and cut all the speculations. If he was interested and FSG never approached him it is just very very sad.

I have a lot of respect to the EDs (surely more than they have for me) but Ed001 was very confident throughout the second half of last season the BR was going in the summer and eventually he stayed, so I am happy to hear also other views of people who say they know something from inside. Of course I always take anything I read anywhere about LFC with a pinch of salt.

In any case I do hope FSG will do soemthing if things will keep on being so miserable on the pitch. And by doing something I mean something other than to make the review slightly early in the summer and the get rid of the receptionst.

{Ed001's Note - it won't be Klopp, they have never shown any interest in him anyway. As for being confident, Rodgers himself thought he was going, as I explained in the podcast, hence the idea regarding getting rid of the coaching staff.}

Hey ED'02,

We have all heard what ED'01 thinks about BR and his position.If you have the time sir could you please enlighten me and all the other posters about his position.

I have checked what you have to say about the owners.You said they might sell the club in 2017 and get a good value.Also you mentioned that this is the last roll of the dice for them.Do you think if results don't go our way under BR will they change him or he will stay on till they sell the club???

Thanks if this is posted and replied to sir.

TAKE CARE AND CHEERS

{Ed002's Note - (1) I think it was a mistake keeping BR on, but they have invested a lot in the way he wants to play the game and I guess this is the last chance saloon. They made the decision early in the summer that they would keep him rejecting the opportunity to look at the option proposed. More recently they have taken the opportunity to take advice from someone who is an employed manager. If they do end up parting company they will certainly listen to what he has to say. (2) 2017 sees the first real return from the new television money and now that the proposal for an early pan-European breakaway has been voted down (3 for, 14 against and 2 no shows), 2017 would be the time to sell at a profit if success still eludes the club. (3) The owners cannot keep throwing money at players whilst relying on future income - it makes no sense - and yet again the FFP balloon is ready to burst. It is a nonsense to have ejaculated these vast amounts of money over the past three years with zip to show for it. They have attempted to buy the league and failed - you have to draw a line across. (4) Right now BR is the manager for the season, losing at the weekend did not change that. After that I don't know as it depends how it pans out - they won't be keen to change mid-season but will deal with it if they must.}
