I have my fingers crossed and said after Sion game BR's position must be untenable, so glad to read Macca's post.
Macca did say this may differ in timing and overall outcome, but I am hoping he heard correctly.
We have 2 managers heavily linked by unreliable press, and another FDB just popped in the frame. Maybe from previous rumours a while back. Any of these are better than BR in my opinion.
Most on here are right, whoever it is let's give them time to know the team and apply their ways.
I hope for CA as I think he is a proven winner, brings stability for the fans and players, dignified, and a clever football brain. Klopp second for his football style and passion to win rubs off on players and fans.
FDB is young and unproven, but doing well enough. Just my thoughts. He is promising and would still be an improvement.
Exciting times ahead. Possibly!!

I just don't want another young manager who is branded 'exciting' and 'talented' and having to listen to any more of this 'philosophy' crap.

I feel klopp and de boer would just be bringing this in again, it wouldn't be a stark enough of a change.

Whereas i feel ancelotti would come in and give us a kick up he backside, ditch all this crap about talking a good game and just get sh*t done.

Well said, woolback. Ancelotti is what we need.

Ancelotti for me, we need a top class manager and that's what you get with him.

I would tend to agree Anonymous Woolback, hope in a way I got that across with the preferred choice of CA. It would some coup if he does arrive.
No rumour just something which would never happen and all but CA as DoF and Klopp as manager!! Like I say no rumour or suggestion but not a bad dream!!

Partly agree with you woolback, I think ancelotti would be a great short term fix but it's obvious we are rebuilding yet again. That being the case i'd rather rebuild with a long term manager that wants to lay foundations for the future and build a footballing philosophy and progression plan. Ajax system has worked brilliantly for years and fdb has given ops to many youth players. Not sure on klopps record doing the same but he certainly built a great team.

NO, for me Klopp number one and you can't say he is an unproven young manager but a youngish proven manager who is exciting and works wonders with teams. CA also would be more than welcome in my eyes too but for me a second choice, even though Klopp I think is not coming regardless
