Okay so just something i have noticed. Under BR when the ball went out wide and the wide player was marked quite tightly. There seemed to be a pocket of space unfilled by a Liverpool player which needed to be filled to offer an option for the wide player under pressure. I wish i could explain it better. But it never happened and i was looking like why is no one dropping into this space to pick up the ball on move the attack on. We didn't play with basic triangles at times. But last night Tex constantly filled the space in Mf when the ball got sent out wide offered an option and carried on moving the ball! It was just nice to see. Hopefully a few of you know what i'm on about.

I know what you mean, the wide player would get the ball look up and only see the centre forward there. (that's if he was lucky)

I don't know whether this is to do with tactics or personnel, for example, i play holding mid or cb and i'm constantly shouting at people in front of me to support the player with the ball and give them options and if i don't yell they won't move

could be that JK has been working on it or it could be that Tex is smart enough or hungry enough to constantly present himself for the ball. good sign either way.

Yes boys! Glad you see the same.

Brown i think that goes two ways you get the people who stand there and the person on the ball wants to pass. Then when people do move for the ball it ends up being the messi wannabe on your team who hogs it ;) joking.

I know what you mean simple movement seems to be underrated at times.

Yeah i think both. You can see Tex is hungry for it. But i think slowly it's been improving. I think one of the reasons we looked so bad under the Brodge is we didn't have the players playing as a unit. When you watch most teams of a high level (prem, bundesliga ect) even lower down the table they can construct passes very nicely at times we couldn't at all and i think possibly down to lack of movement or lack of movement in the right places!

Can't knock their character though, Alistair.

Bridge was the reason we were bad, not the players.
