It just dawned on me that Lucas will be out for the Swansea game. Now whoever replaces him has a big job on their hands cause he has been fantastic. It will probably be little Joe and I hope he has a stormer of a game.

Swans in poor form, definitely got to go there and play with a out and out striker upfront rather than a false 9 like we played with against City (much as that worked) .
Agree with earlier post - gitvto be Milner to replace Lucas, Benteke in as striker.

Playing firmnio up top worked on the counter away to the best team in the country. Jurgen exploited a weakness he could see to perfection as he knew they would be weak and there would be space, the kind of environment a false nine thrives in.
However that doesn't mean we should spam that for every game. don't spam any tactics for every game because you get found out. The best managers in the world know this - did mourinho, ancelotti or fergusòn ever bang on about philosophy or tactics? They just git on with it and adapted the team to every game, although the differences were there to see.
Firmino will struggle when swansea sit back, unless they have a defensive nightmare. We need movement in and around the box for this game, not quick movement on the counter.
I wouldn't be surprised to see two up top at some point during this match, this game needs firepower - an early scabby goal and its a steamrolling job, hopefully.

I vote for Firmino at no.10 behind Benteke and Llalana/Milner as wide attacking mids, both of whom are capable of stepping inside or delivering a cross from out wide.
If we're struggling to score, bring on Ibe and/or Sturridge depending on where needed.

Apols, I got confused between Swans and Bordeaux
For Swans I'd play Coutinho/Firmino/Llalana behind Benteke (assuming Couts recovers) and then play Milner/Can in the holding midfield.
