Hi all,
Just curious as to how many posters have seen texeira play more than 5 or 10 times?
I just find it confusing as to why everyone is screaming about him and saying we should pay almost £40mil when most are going off hear say and stats (in the Ukrainian league) .
I understand excitement of a new signing we all get it but do we really need him? Is he really that good? I'm not saying he isn't because he's been decent the handful of times i have seen him but £40 is a lot of money for big risk, unless someone can tell me otherwise and that he is genuinely a top quality play.

Its because were all desperate for success, £39 million is stupid money. Bentekes transfer was stupid money however and that was done in the summer with plenty of time so I guess the club is just stupid.

I'd seen Benteke at least 30 times and that didn't help me one bit.

Just looked down the first 2 pages of the transfer news and the first 3 of the banter Steve8 - where is the 'everyone' saying we should pay £40m for him? Because I've seen about 4 in total.

We may need him BUT not at 40m. we already have a 32m striker that we don`t even know if he`ll be here next season and we had 3 years to scout him. i say, walk away right now while we can because 40m for a 26 yr old in a poorrer league is madness.

I've never seen him play, his youtube video's look good, I have no idea if he is value for money. Can only say there is no guarantee that any player will be successful but that Klopp's transfer record was pretty reasonable at Dortmund so, yeah, I know nothing!
