How come there are double standards with most of the fans, countless posts when a young player does well, but when that player isn't performing week after week then that player is young and shouldn't be criticised, CAN is case in point. When do we draw that line with using youth as an excuse?

There are no excuses, but by the universe dictates that less experienced players will be more inconsistent.

Where you as wise as you are now when you were much younger? If the answer is no then don't know why you think there's a double standard, really. Saying players are young hence inconsistent, is not an excuse. It is fact. We must persevere with them knowing full well that some develop quicker than others.
