Grujic came in and return of a fair few loanees. We put in a bid for a player of what we could pay and they rejected it, we didn't overpay. What an epic fail.

We haven't spent money we don't have and we haven't lost any players we want to keep.
Would've been best if we had lost players that we didn't want to keep, thus had money, but to say this is an "Epicfail" is lunacy.

The fact is we're just not a good enough team and needed reinforcements, with benteke not good enough and Sturridge never fit, origi inexperienced our striking options are poor. Don't even need to get me started on our dreadful defence.

Yeah but this is real life, not fantasy football.
And there is no magic wand to fix the team's problems in the middle of a season.
Sure, a couple of premium players up top and at the back would be nice, but those players just aren't available now.
The fact is that nobody has spent significant money this window. Well, except Newcastle, but I don't think you'd want Townsend would you?
Maybe when the Chinese but out the Reds, then we'll be able to throw money around like crazy and make you happy. Although be warned, that would also make us the latest soulless Premier League club.

We have six strikers on the books already in Sturridge, Benteke, Origi, Ings, Balotelli, and Yesil. We need to be shifting players before buying more, in my opinion. Frankly if I were FSG there is no way I would have let us buy Benteke without having moved on Balotelli permanently first. Hopeful the era of buying players and then loaning them out when we can't sell them is over.
