Thanks for reply on Danny ings.
Has it stalled because he's injured and they can't evaluate or is this a normal time frame?
Appreciate your guys knowledge and hard work.

{Ed002's Note - No, it has stalled because one of the clubs has been screwing around.}

Here we go! Let me guess ed002, it's liverpool screwing around?

{Ed002's Note - Yes, and it has very much upset Burnley.}

Us Ed2?

{Ed002's Note - Yes.}

I bet the Liverpool owners are not happy as they like to do business fast and efficiently.

21 Feb 2016 12:59:10
Burnley are upset? That's it, no way I'll be able to sleep tonight.

{Ed002's Note - I am sure you will learn to live with your ignorance and complete lack of respect for other.}

its a disgrace we have not sorted this out by know. if it was Liverpool waiting to be paid we would be outraged. why we don't just give them £10million rising to £12million and have done with it. Amazing it has been allowed to drag on this long. we don't like it when we think other clubs mess us around regarding transfers yet we cannot sit down and sort out what should be a simple issue. After all he was never going to be a free transfer we knew all along money would have to change hands.

Isn't it up to the authorities to decide the price if the clubs don't agree?

{Ed002's Note - No, an independent tribunal would set the price but Liverpool persisted with saying they could agree with Burnley. It will go to tribunal.}

21 Feb 2016 18:37:23
I see. An independent tribunal. I wonder what kind of people sit on that. They must know something about football so it would be difficult to find people completely independent/ unbiased.

{Ed002's Note - The tribunal will be chaired by someone with an appropriate background in law - a sports barrister would be an example. The other members will be representatives of the LMA, PFA, Premier League and the Championship. They will be unbiased although no doubt many of the paranoid Liverpool fans will see some reason to think everyone is out to make things worse for Liverpool. I expect it to be resolved very soon as Burnley are making a fuss now.}

Sounds expensive Ed.

I suppose it will be added to the transfer costs?
Out of interest, will the player's agent still get a fee?

{Ed002's Note - I have no idea what you mean by "expensive". The fee for the agent and other costs have already been agreed and paid.}

21 Feb 2016 20:58:25
I just assumed getting all those individuals together for the tribunal would be costly. Sports barrister sounds expensive, I imagine they're on a decent hourly fee.
