Having to use a sub so early on in a game like this left it more difficult for Klopp today, in terms of changes he could then make to effect the game. For all the effort of Can, Milner and Hendo, the type of quick pass forward to feed Sturridge runs, eludes them all. We are missing that type of player. Klopp seems to have picked what he sees as his best team from what he has available - while we as supporters may question moreno etc, a final may not have been the time to throw the likes of Brad Smith in. There is enough league games to give these lads experience. Unfortunately, united seem to be showing some form, I would dearly love to knock them out of the Europa league.
Like another poster said, gutted for young kids supporting our boys. I had a 7 and 9 year old who were inconsolable. I hope the summer improves our starting 11.
