Man U have disappointed me today but top four is slipping away from them, which is a nice consolation.

Not a chance they were getting a result today.

Thought the same thing T_T, this is the same United team we battered at Old Trafford and in my eyes City were always going to win comfortably.
The title will go down to the wire!
And no doubt in my mind United will finish outside the top 4, they'll be lucky for top 6.

Everton put more of a shift then soft Utd.

Imagine week in week out they've to see that horror 🙈🙈.

United are poor. They have been poor for about 3 or 4 years now and until they get a new spine for the team and a manager who doesn’t have to contend with players who think they run the club they won’t get anywhere.

A spine of De Gea (whose form has been in decline for a couple of years), Maguire, Pogba and Ronaldo (who plays solely for himself these days) is never going to challenge for anything - if they carry on the way they are going they will be a mid-table ar best side in a couple of years.

{Ed014's Note - they’re the most over rated squad I’ve seen for ages, wouldn’t have a single one of the clowns in our squad!

Fair play to City. Ball back in our court now and it’s up to us to beat Brighton and put the pressure back on City.

Spot on, Ed. They have always been overrated fir years but cos they spend a lot of money on big names instead of actually spending on players they need, people think they are really good and the pro-Utd media have had a lot to do with this over the years.

They spent a ton on Sancho, Varane (dreadful player) and CR37, the semi retired pensionaire and the media kicked up a storm as to how they were going to challenge and even many on here bought such baseless rubbish in a bid to make our owners look bad. I know I laughed all thru the summer cos I knew it would all go up in smoke provide the PE teacher was still the manager. How you like me now?
As for the title, we will have to do it ourselves cos nobody is going to do us any favours.

The way things go with city they might as well just give them a buy for all the remaining fixtures and if we are level on points at the end we'll have a decider. Let city put their feet up.

What with the suspect handballs and sides accepting defeat before the games. Never seen a more gutless united than that. Walking around the pitch, couldn't complete basic passes, not willing to put a challenge in, might as well of had the day off.

The walking round wasn't just in today's match, they do it a lot. There is little to no press - particularly from Pogba (he is disgraceful and an insult to football most of the time) .

Just noticed now City have really clawed back the goal difference. There’s still now that possibility we win all our games including at City and could still lose the title on goal difference.

This is a great title race for Liverpool and City fans as well as the neutrals.

Spot on @JK two top notch squads going for it.

Like I say, I love watching entertaining football and, from a Liverpool perspective the last 3 or 4 years have - with the exception of the period we had VVD, Joel and Joe out with long term injuries - been brilliant. City and Chelsea have made it all the better because they are very good too. You know a win against them is a win earned.

Can wait to see how the rest of the season pans out.

They were woeful, the attitude is what stood out most though. I mean I think the vast majority of observers would’ve expected City to win, but it was so easy, and United were so gutless, it was pathetic. I doubt City will get an easier derby day than that. Even if their attitude wasn’t awful United are, in terms of quality, dire in both midfield and defense. Maguire is way too slow, Lindelof is positionally dreadful, Wan Bissaka I do not know what has happened to him but a shadow of the player he was, Telles bang average (yet their youngster Williams out on loan looks quite decent) . And McTominay, Pogba and Fred might be the laziest, most useless midfield they’ve ever had. I’d be shocked if they got champions league because they look miles off it in terms of quality, miles.

In terms of remaining games we’ve certainly got, on paper, the tougher looking run in. It will be even tougher if City get to benefit from the sort of decisions they got vs Everton. Very interesting times ahead but City certainly favorites as this juncture. Goes without saying really but, though the game at the Etihad will be huge, there are plenty we need to really focus and dig deep with before then (Brighton (a), Arsenal (a), United (h) though this might’ve been moved due to FA Cup?, Watford (h) ) - all must wins in reality before the must win at the Etihad. Interesting times, all we can do is enjoy it I guess.
