Overall I reckon we had a pretty decent transfer window.

Klopp managed to land two of his major targets, Ox and Keita plus we beat the likes of Chelsea to Ox. It shows that the tables are turning and Liverpool are back in business.

We needed a proper leader at the back and mucked up the VVD situation but what we have also seen now is that Klopp is not going to bring any players in unless it is a player he really wants as there is no point in filling the squad with players who ain't good enough.

Robertson, Solanke, Salah, AOC and Keita for next season. Our squad has been improved with these additions.

Been reading through the posts and many throwing their toys saying OX is sh*te and a waste of money "what was Klopp thinking" etc etc.

Let's not forget that Ox hardly started under Wenger. Read something a couple of days ago that he never started more than 17 times a season under Wenger or something like that but ended up being one of their most creative players when looking at the overall minutes he played under Wenger.

Ox was also playing for a manager, Wenger, who has completely lost the plot and has for years now. The players at Arsenal do not seem to give a damn about what happens on the pitch as they have a manager who is failing to run the show.

Ox under Klopp will thrive. In Ox we have a player with strength, pace, has goals and assists in him too. Once his confidence is up and running, I believe he will become a very important player for us.

The only thing now is, will Coutinho stay or go? As far as I am concerened he must go but it is time the club stands it's ground and shows each and every other player that LFC will not bow down to player demands anymore so Coutinho very well might stay and will send out a message to all our players that player power can be shoved straight up the behind. Coutinho might very well become an example and warning to other players if he stays.

If he doesn't play again then other than satisfying your ego this decision wouldn't benefit the club. To turn down a potential €160 mill is a massive gamble ( I believe the club thinks he will come back and start playing ) . I am utterly disappointed about our poor planning in not finding solutions to the puzzle i. e. Coutinho!

{Ed001's Note - it benefits the club if it stops players doing this in future to it.}

Great post, there are lots of reasons to be positive going forward. I also think that Oxlaide-Chamberlain will thrive under Klopp and will go up to the next level now he is out of the comfortable Arsenal environment.

Not sure you beat Chelsea to the signing because your now more attractive, it's quite clear he thinks he's got more chance of game time at Liverpool.

{Ed001's Note - no it is not and that is nothing to do with it. The lad joined Liverpool for one reason only - it is his boyhood club and the achievement of a dream. With the size of Chelsea's squad, it is arguable that he probably had a lot more chance of game time with them.}

Am I allowed to say something about AOX now that he has officially signed for Liverpool? I can see many blaming Arsenal, Wenger and environment for his lack of ability. Arsesnal for two good years did not had a CM and AOX couldn't cement a place there! With Santo out injured Wenger played almost everyone in that role except AOX says a lot!

{Ed001's Note - about who though Harry? Wenger or Ox? Because Wenger thinks Xhaka is world class, but everyone can see he is a clogger that would struggle to get in a Sunday league team, so you would be foolish to judge a player based on what Wenger thinks of them.}

Stand, Conte does not sign players that he thinks he cannot use. Being attractive is subjective really, as Ox has shown. We were more attractive to him than Chelsea as he had a chance to join his boyhood club and took a massive pay cut to join us. Even money would not sway him. I'm not his biggest fan BUT the fact that he made every effort to join us at least shows that he will be more determined to improve and he'd better do so as Klopp despises slouches and flunkies. Ask Sahko, Ibe, Balotelli and Benteke.

{Ed001's Note - Ibe's problem was he struggled to understand his instructions. He tried but it just seemed to be going in one ear and out of the other, as Eddie Howe is finding out at Bournemouth. Ibe probably needs a manager like Pulis, who will use repetition to ensure players understand his instructions.}

Harry, why would you take the opinion of a coach who benched a striker like Lacazette in a big game as being important? wenger is a has-been and a dictator and deserves all the bullocking he's getting. As for Xaka, Xaka would not make an indoor league team as he is bang awful. Only Wenger thinks he is world class, which tells you all you need to know about how deluded he is.

Prolly right on the Ibe tip, Ed.

{Ed001's Note - someone said to me the other day that it was a similar thing with Ollie Burke, the lad that left Nottingham Forest to go to RB Leipzig and returned to English footie to join the Baggies this summer. Apparently they nicknamed him the blank harddrive or something similar, because each time he went out on a pitch it was like someone had wiped all the instructions off the disk and he had no idea what his instructions were. Even if his instructions were the same every time!}

I know Burke, Ed and he was hailed as the next big thing in Scottish football but hey, there's that "great British talent" for you, I guess Ed. But don't worry, French players are not known to be that smart either.
