Ed001, can you use your connections to the club to send a message to the hierarchy that this furlough move is really stupid and that it could ruin the reputation FSG has been trying to build for years?

Also, could we create and circulate a petition here that could be signed across the internet condemning this act of selfishness? Whether the decision is changed or not, we'll know we let our voices be heard.

Big mistake and just shows what is wrong with the world when we have the likes of Liverpool, Newcastle, Norwich and Spurs jumping on this loophole to avoid paying some low paid workers.}

Typical capitalistic thinking. When stuff hits the fans, it is the lowly paid workers who ALWAYS bite the bullet while the fat cats reward themselves with parachute payments worth millions. FSG and the club heirarchy had a chance to make a brave, moral and PR-level decision here to side with the clubs non playing staff and pay them full wages during this crisis and they chose to turn their backs on them. This is going to leave a scar on both the club and these employees that will be difficult to close moving forward. Disgusting!
