Ed 002, can you list the "elite"clubs that are meeting later this week. You have stated liverpool are not one of these, and also stated that some of the 12 involved in breakaway, are in this "elite" group. Can you give us the names of all these "elite" clubs please.

Also, the clubs from this "elite" group, who have backed the super league, how will they be viewed now by the other "elite" clubs, that havent!

The reaction against the proposal from around Europe has been severe, and it looks like the Germans are stepping away from it also.
Football is ingrained in European culture and history, I don’t think the club owners quite realise the extent of these ties.

if what ed2 says is true and the real elite clubs are still meeting, I imagine on the agenda will be a strong PR and marketing campaign for the next breakaway announcement lol.
