Ed001. I believe you wrote that Liverpool buying a versatile forward is unlikely now or something like that. Assuming Origi is sold this week, it would be crazy not to replace him. What happens if one of Jota, Firmino, Salah or Mane' is injured as happened last season? Thanks.

I presume you mean Minamino, Jones and Ox, right? How many goals or assists did they score or provide last season? Can LFC rely on them as quality substitutes especially to score goals? Jones is a promising player but he's still learning.

If you read the Ed's answer, I think he means that if one of the four are absent, then we would select the other three, as we do at the moment.

Seems that little detail Ed provided has flown thru the heads of those who keep thinking all our forwards will get injured at some point and there will be nobody left in the squad to replace them.

I understood Ed001 and that is my concern. Subs are nowhere close to the same level.
