Looking at Klopp's press conference its clear why we aren't persuading midfielders.
Don't think Money is a "sole" reason as he said if their was a player Skills better then Fab, Thiago, Hendo, OX, Keita, Curtis, Elliott then he "promises" will go for that player.
He even said how important is for Elliott to Play and Curtis to take the next step and must take. If we brought just "another* player coz Wijnaldum left then probably Elliott wouldn't have played so is Curtis. Think that makes sense now why we aren't looking at midfielders coz Klopp really rates Curtis :-)

Do you really think he’s going to come out and say Yes, we’re looking to buy this player or that player? Presser’s are something that managers most likely would rather not have the bother to do so they just go through the motions, through in a little hyperbole and get them over with.

Longthing mate Klopp never said we were for Renato Sanches. Think we are/ were just keeping our options open if players leave then just expecting them to be bought as Wijnaldum replacement.

DSR, you mean like the way Jones came good last season after playing in a struggling team and more than held his own in the CL especially? He already come good, bro. The question is can he take the next jump to confirm what we already know and even rival fans know, he can take.
Oh and btw, answer the question and explain your hate for a kid who made it thru the youth ranks to the first team and played well overall under the difficulty the team had last season? We are waiting.

Curtis will be fine give him a chance guys he has some tremendous qualities and is from Liverpool he has worked hard to get into Kloppers thoughts give him a bit of credit. In a team with normal centre backs present he will kick on I predict Naby to have steady season but Ox sadly I think has been ruined by injury. Also wouldn’t worry about transfers at other clubs we do it our way and after watching the u18s thrash Man U 18s with some tasty looking players and the u23s thumped Everton u 23s as well the future is bright the future is red. We are doing what is right for the club going forward first teamers signing new deals and not adding more debt is positive. I predict a good season if we can win tomorrow it puts us in good stead. The champs league group is a toughy though let’s see how many players Altleti can injure for us over the two games. Can’t wait for tomorrow but then the crap that that is international football is back so make the most of tomorrow’s game. Hope the fans give em hell and cheer our boys on been a bit disappointed with the noise last week we can do better.
