We have several new players that have to be integrated into the team and also have to bond with their new teammates. The club, the manager and the coaches, the ground, the city, new homes.
As reds, we need to give all the new lads time. We have been lucky that we have had several very good performances so far this season, and it may take the rest season for all the lads to bed in at the club.
I recall 1974/75 season, shanks left we signed Ray Kennedy he played a few games as a forward and struggled the crowd were moaning about him he was taken out the team for a while and when he returned, he was left midfield and was a revelation with a wand of a left foot. Moral of the story, Ray just needed time to find his way at LFC, so give the boys a chance.

Harry, and what’s wrong with that? We are in a rebuild so show me a team that has been in a full rebuild that won the title in the PL like we are in? Oh, and don’t mention your other club Chelsea who won in 16/ 17 cos they were not in a rebuild cos all they did was take the prev. season off cos they hated the manager. I’ll wait.
So don’t come on here and start placing a bar in LFC that you yourself know they may not meet do you can come gloat when it doesn’t happen. For me, as long as we compete for all trophies and get back into the CL with a trophy or two then, that will bode well for yeah, next year when we can make the next jump, as the OP said.
Oh n btw, you are not part of “we” so it will be interesting to see who you will be pulling for today when both clubs that you ACTUALLY support lock horns. Tough choice, I know.

No point in even having traditional full backs in this new system. Tsimikas could be the best left back in the world and he still shouldn’t be on the pitch.

You make me laugh @Oli. The post above you said our problem is tactics, here you say we are in rebuild ??. Change the tactics and the rebuild nonsense goes out of the window. Ain’t it? How are we in rebuild when according to you we have signed all ???.

Harry clearly, we do have issues with the tactics while at the same time being in a rebuild. You get it or is life that binary for you? Also, if we changed the tactics today, it doesn't automatically mean we are going to win or challenge for the title either or is that too much for you to comprehend? I thought so.
Also, where did I say we had signed all the players we needed whereas I was calling for a new CB to come in all summer? Again, not surprised. You barely watch LFC play hence, the type of takes you have. As for who wins btwn both clubs you actually support? Not arsed provided the club I actually support (the one you claim when it suits you) wins today.

We have signed 4 players this season and 4 players last season, the same amount City signed and won the League last season. It’s not a rebuild, it’s changing older or out of form players, natural progression. It doesn’t stop City winning the League so why should it be used as an excuse for Liverpool.?
The 20/ 21 season I’m pretty sure City purchased at least 3 more players, still won the League tho.
