Arkadiusz Milik only joined Ajax on a permanent basis in April 2015 and already they have rejected offers from both RB Leipzig and Augsburg and have told other interested clubs (Napoli, Everton, Inter Milan, Olympic Marseille, Leicester and Real Sociedad) that he is not for sale. Sevilla has made an approach to Ajax recently, as have Inter yet again.
Manchester City had a sustained interest in taking Piotr Zielinski as padding for their squad but Udinese didn't want to sell him - and over last summer they stepped back from their pursuit of him completely after watching him during his first season on loan at Empoli. Certainly he was not going to be moving in January but a number of clubs have looked at him whilst on loan at Empoli this season including Brighton, Liverpool, Napoli, Roma, Auxerre, Young Boys and Bayer Leverkusen. Udinese still remain unconvinced about the player even though things are going well for him now - and in the summer they may well pass him off to "sister" side Watford for another season. Napoli have approached Udinese to see if something can be done for the summer and Roma has declared their interest. The player has said he has been approached directly by Klopp and that they have spoken but later retracted that statement and said that Liverpool approached Empoli and not him - which is rather bizarre as he is only on loan at Empoli and they would need to approach Udinese. I understand that Udinese are very, very unhappy about this disruption. Liverpool may need to formally deny what the player has said.}
