Ed002, you rightfully point out that £77 was only for a handful of seats.

Doesn't matter how many it is, it could be a seat next to 'Klipperty' and it'd still be too much.

But the hundreds and thousands of seats for £71 or £75 have been overloooked.

I think it's a great response from the club and I can only hope that they look at ticket prices further to try and reduce the tickets for the loyal fans attending week in week out.

Why do FSG not just give tickets away for free? This whole ticket issue is becoming a joke now.

FSG have bent over backwards and are now shelling out more money to keep things afloat while the the stadium is being expanded for more fans to to be able to watch matches at Anfield. If the club makes a loss in the financial results then you will not even hear FSG make a noise! To go with that, the revenue that gets made from extra seats once the stadium expansion is complete will now go back to repaying back the loan FSG made to LFC. Klopp will need money to spend in the transfer market too so hopefully the fans that walked out at 77 minutes will not piss and moan when FSG decide that they are going to close the tap running from FSG straight into LFC.

The plan for FSG has always been to make LFC self sustainable but what MANY do not understand is that every penny FSG loan to LFC puts LFC into further debt! How difficult is this to understand?

Our fans will never ever be satisfied. I am one 150% sure that FSG are just waiting for the opportune moment to say goodbye.

The fair price is the price that people are willing to pay. What you lot want is "unfair" pricing which is below market tickets which will result in many people not being able to get a ticket that want to go as well as touts making a fortune by buying undervalued tickets and then Re-selling them to fans (probably for much more than 77 pounds) . Also not having match categorizations is mental! Clearly seeing Liverpool vs Man U should cost more than Liverpool vs. Bournemouth. You will end up with lots of people not being able to go to the former because the ticket is below market and lots of empty seats at the latter because the ticket is above market.

{Ed001's Note - that makes no sense, just nonsense. Why would the tickets be above value for a game? Touts are not going to make any money if they can't sell, so they are not going to put the price above market are they? Many people will not get tickets either way and touts operate in huge numbers now.
All you are doing is repeating business scaremongering, with no reality to it.}

Well said Logan, FSG are decent owners who are being driven out. Shame.

I think we are all entitled to our opinion mate. It all depends on which side of the fence you sit. A lot of us northern, flat cap, former sons of Dockers who work in jobs just above minimum wage may feel at times aggrieved that the club want to hike prices up. I choose to buy a season ticket each year rather than going on a Holiday abroad, why? I love supporting my team. I know some on here have an opinion that us supporters that have a season ticket should be thankful, why? 30 yrs I have had mine and I should give my seat up and let someone better off financially take it? I did not walk out on Saturday, but I am thankful for the owners that they have listened to the ones who did. I like the Owners and thank them for all they are doing for the club, but prices should be kept with inflation, for us flat cap commoners. .

i wish i could hit like more than once.

With all due respect Ed001, the fact that touts can buy tickets and re-sell them at a higher rate means that the club is in fact selling them below what people are willing to pay for them.

{Ed001's Note - with all due respect, that is not the point of any of this. We know there are rich people who can afford to pay ridiculous prices for things, but that doesn't mean ripping people off is the right way to go about it. I really don't know why people are still on about this. The point is that touts will exist no matter what, dropping the price is not going to suddenly see them appear, so your whole post was a bunch of crap. Move on and stop the scaremongering nonsense.}

RedHands I don't think you're talking about true market value as you're referring to special purchasers willing to pay an inflated price for the item.

Ok that's fair.
