I understand that benteke isn't what klopp wants, but why is he refusing to play him?
I know he hasn't played very well when he has been picked, but he hasn't really been given a chance, just wonderd if anyone knew real reason for not picking a 30mill player?

He's been given plenty of chances and not taken it. He lacks any hunger or desire to succeed here. Talented guy but doesn't show it often enough.
He needs to be a big fish in a small pond. It suited him at Villa as the pressure is not as high as us demanding a win and performance each match. Coupled with the fact we play a high press game And you need to run and work your butt off, he's not suited.

Has HAS given him a chance and benteke has jogged around offering nothing but frustration from our own players. He is not we ever needed.

To be fair Benteke did have a number of chances and didn't do enough. I hope he'll be given more chances to prove himself before the end of the season but he can't complain that Klopp has been unfair on him.

He simply doesn't fit in with the style we want. Why play him if his not the right fit, Origi needs game time so rather play him. It was a silly signing.

Origi offers everything that Benteke cannot. Beneteke may be stronger but Origi's positioning inside the box is better and his work rate plus desire triumphs Benteke's lazy a** every time. Benteke is not bad, just not a Klopp player. He had his chance and blew it, just like Moreno.

If Origi comes off the bench in a high intensity Cup final and played his heart out from the word go and nearly won it for us, then you know Benteke is old news and won`t be here next year.

Let benteke go he's not good enough full stop he's had more than enough chances I've seen a tethered horse move faster.

Not trashing the player. Just saying what the coach is doing as in, benching him because he's not good enough. It is not an insult to say that a player who's not good enuff, is not good enuff.
