don't wish to rain on your parade but todays date is 16 march . in fact todays date is same backwards i. e. 16/ 03/ 16.

I think Alan50 suffered a typo there, 007. The St Ettiene match was 16th March, so as he said, 39 years ago today.

Alan, I was in the Kop for that match, and the noise from the fans there was just out of this world, everyone standing and singing, I will never forget it .
