Question for ED001.
Been reading the site for a fair old time now. cheers for all the effort you put in, I seem to spend half my life on here.
A few years back I vaguely remember Son-heung-min being touted as an option I think during Rodgers era before Spurs snapped him up. My question is a) were we anywhere near to actually putting pen to paper and b) do you agree that he would be/ have been a great fit in our current system?

{Ed001's Note - not really mate, we looked at him but never got near to signing him sadly. Most of the links seemed to originate from me really wanting us to sign him, even though we so rarely sign the players I would choose for us. I think he would have been a great signing for us, though he might have got hounded out of the club by the fans after his first season, as he did not start well for Spurs. Shows the value of patience.....}

Ed01 i remember speaking to jan molby on lfctv asked him we should sign at the time his big tip was Son higjly rated.
{Ed001's Note - Jan is not really in the know, and would not have been allowed to reveal anything on the in-house channel even if he had known something. Shame, I would have loved him.}

Thought you guys said it was between firmino and son and we went for son first only to be told he wasnr for sale.
Then he went at the ebd of the summer.

Sorry maybe used the wrong word- tip- opinion- he said son was one who hed like to see come to lfc- amongst others from bundasliga. Id spoken to him previouslyand he wanted suarez at that time. Another he said would suit lfc then was erikson.

this day and age its really hard to be patient though. if karius is our no 1 next season, the moment he makes 1 or 2 mistakes that cost us points, everyone will be calling for his head again.
