Hi - question for Ed2 - do you feel that Klopp has improved Liverpool at all considering we are in 3rd at this place, 9 points better off than how we finished the season last year?
I'm particularly interested to here how you feel, with you being one of his main detractors on this forum.

that's right our league places in the last 8yrs or so have been poor so to finish in the top 4 would show progress, however no one at the club should rest until we are 1st, that has to be the ultimate aim.

As Ed said.
It's a huge improvement given last seasons performance.
Maybe the best sign of a new improved ethos is that even (hopefully) that we finish 3rd. That there is a little disappointment that we have under achieved due to defensive errors.
Our goals for is brilliant but unfortunately goals against is quite poor
As we know a lot of this is set pieces defending and human error that can be improved.

You have to take it in context- comparing what we have spent to the millions invested by the Manchester clubs and to an extent Arsenal, this must be seen as a massive achievement.

It is though king.
Realism is contiuning to improve season on season. Aslong as you rhat th3n that's all you can ask for.
Noone in or around th3 club is looking at this as good as winning the league but it is an acheivement.

Absolutely, boys. Anyone saying that we have not improved this season is just a moaner, a Klopp hater or just rejecting truth and facts. By every metric, we are much better than we were even two seasons ago when we got 6th with a hiding (6-1 at Stoke) being the icing on the cake. Our top signings have improved us and Klopp is till improving the players that were here before and let those who can't hack it, go.
In spite of all our issues and all we have gone thru with some of our own fans rooting for us to fail as well as some in the media doing this, we are STILL here and STILL standing. Now, can we improve and get better? YES. If we make 3rd, it will be awesome and we must celebrate it.
However, the REAL work begins the next day cos getting CL is NOT an end to itself. It's about getting CL regularly while building a title challenge on the back of that and winning it, that must be the goal. For this, ALL concerned with the club need to improve and players (with the right mentality and bottle to fight for the cause) need to be brought in to fix our issues cos the other teams won't stand around and watch us get ahead of them so we should remain RELENTLESS in our approach.
