Craigu, did it ever occur to you that Origi was left on his own, swamped in a sea of Saints defenders, with no service from midfield nor the flanks? Your post is spot on (our FB's need replacing FAST) in parts BUT a bit of perspective is needed before slating a 22 yr old boy who was left at sea on his own. As for Couts, really don't understand your rant about him cos the boy worked his socks off.

He is young. He will improve. Today he had no space to run in behind and no crosses to attack and ATM he's not good enough to magic something up on his own. But neither were the rest of the team. Way to back your team.

Our defence needs work. Don't let one game blind you of that fact. Also continho is a top class player and far from a one trick pony.
What I will agree with is the full backs need replacing and from all the rumours it seems klopp is aware of this.
And I too believe we need a top class striker to beat these lower teams. Put continho mane and Firmino behind a top class goal scorer and it will give the team belief and direction against these sides.
Lately I too have been thinking origi is not going to make it. He is young and could well prove me wrong but I personally would be open to selling him
If we get top four I think we should make a big push to get aguero. It's not every day a player of his quality comes on the market. I'm sure it won't happen but a man can dream.

Coutinho is our best player by a very long way. When he is constantly cutting in and shooting its because the team is not helping him in any way. He is a brilliant and clever passer too so if the team is giving him options he uses them. Besides how many brilliant long range goals has he scored for us?

Coutinho is a one trick pony when he plays out of position at left wing. He should be playing deeper where he was so effective for us before brendan start messing everything around. Although i have given up hope of klopp applying such common sense.

the one thing id put against big divock is he doesn't use his size enough for me you watch people like costa, zlatan, lewandoski, dzecko, kane they will pin an centre back hold him an say go on ping that ball into me il hold it up get runners around me an il lay it off now im not saying he never does it but he needs to do it more that's you beat these teams that sit deep .

Davey, Aguero is being maybe let go cos he doesn't press nor work hard off the ball, the very reason Studge can't play our system and Firmino and Gab Jesus can, in respective teams. Also, if you are okay with selling a young, clearly talented player who is still raw, learning, scored 10 goals and a bunch of assists this season (in spite of playing minimal minutes), just cos he's not yet the finished article, shows a lack of patience nor will to let a kid that the manager clearly believes in, grow is disappointing. The only CF I remember who was already world class at 22 was the great Ronaldo.
Even Messi and Suarez weren't this great at that age so I propose you let the kid develop and let Klopp work his magic cos he has worked wonders with some of BR's players that many of us said, needed replacing. If you are not ready to persevere with a player that you believe him, you do not deserve the player you want him to become.

For everyone defending origi. i mentioned owen and fowler coming in young. Rush came from chester, spent a year in the reserves then started banging them in. Hazard and the kid from monaco were ripping that french league apart. origi was voted worst player in the league before he came to us. I know he's 22 but you have to admit at some point he's not going to make it. And he isnt. We have no creativity apart from coutinho. Lalana has peaked also. We need to buy quality to go straight on to the team. Not prospects. We are always rebuilding. The yitanic was built on less time than its taken us to rebuild. that's noce people are defending our players. but the truth is our current squad and first 11 are not up to it.

Yeah craigu that's why we are third in one of the most competitive leagues in the world, get a grip son. The team does need work but not slagging off, origi is not mbappe nor is he the worse 22yr old in the world.

We have a good team, the other top 6 teams would struggle against these teams if they parked the bus against them too. Its grimp to watch but they know its our weakness so i don't blame them for doing it i guess. Need to change things up or we ain't getting CL which will make next season even harder for us.
Any money we go to west ham here and they park the bus, They did not against spurs.
