It seems so long ago that an annual trip to Anfield South was the norm.
Does anybody think we will ever get back to the top of that perch again?

We need to start getting regular CL due to the money etc. if not we will get left further behind the competition, the leagues harder now than its ever been.
Lets start with CL this season and build on that! need a leader/ winner in the team for sure and 1 or 2 ready made players in the team this summer also.

No team will dominate like us and utd did.
With the tv revenue and the influx of foreign players chasing that money, winning the prem is an aspiration that is beyond most clubs, but now the main target is top 4 finish to stand a chance of winning goal big and raising the status of your brand
Times have changed, our game is now big business where clubs are nowbrands with the arse marketed out of them.
I think we have lost something that was special about English football but I'm 50 years of age and can compare the past to now.

really need Champions League to kick on, the revenue and best players that it brings are vital, if, if we miss out, we are back in the top six bracket, and next season, the top four clubs will have brought in the better players,
so we better get all three points on sunday .
