One for Ed1 I think if you don't mind. When we got Klopp we were led to believe that he would build a team using shrewd signings and the academy players. My question is at times this season we've been crying out for a centre back and instead of Gomes we get Lucas. When Mane was injured or at AFCON we needed pace and trickery but instead of Ojo or Wilson we restructure the midfield to get Lallana up top. When that doesn't work he still persists. Why? Is he waiting to blood the youngsters or will they just not make it? Is he the type to not want to throw them in at the deep end in case they drown and don't make it back? I'm not having a go at Klopp, far from I love the guy but it just seemed rather odd to me given what we were led to believe about him.
