I have to say ED002 is right to criticise Klopp about tapping up VVD but I'm more concerned that with Lallana's injury, a serious lack of planning has been revealed. We're heading into the new seasin with fewer first team midfielders than last season. That's crazy unless this is addressed by purchases. At this late stage I doubt it. What are your views Eds? Cheers.

Stewart was never in the first team and Lucas was only a back up option, usually in defence, but we have now added Salah, allowing Couts to play midfield and Robertson, allowing Milner to play midfield. I really don't get why people are worried. Lallana is going to struggle to get a game unless Couts is sold anyway.}

Agree with ed01 here I don't see lallana being first choice if we keep phil and if can stays too we have plenty of options.

Lallana's injury doesn't impact the quality of the first elevan it just leaves us bare as we again lack depth.

Only becomes an issue if Coutinho is sold as Lallana is pretty much the same kind of player. Bad timing but no need to panic buy especially when it means Grujic will get a chance.

I disagree here Ed. I still think Klopp sees Lallana in his first 11. He alongside Firmino are pivotal in the way Liverpool press. He likes smart players and he is certainly one of the smartest.

I think anyone who thinks Lallana will struggle to get a game is slightly baffled (no disrespect intended)
Klopp loves him to bits, he will find a way to play him.
