Afternoon eds and reds, a needed three points yesterday and some good performances from our newbies.
Just wanted to get the eds and others opinions away from the transfer madness. With more and more players coming from overseas do you believe it has taken the passion out of derby days somewhat? I know obviously it still means the world to the fans but going back in the day, even though the players weren't necessarily home grown, players tended to stay longer at clubs so the derbies still meant so much to the players, I just wanted to know your opinion with a lot more movement nowadays, does it still mean as much to the players?
{Ed002's Note - I suspect much of the passion has long gone for the players but not so much the fans.}

The last to show passion for us in derby games was Gerrard and flano. No other players see them the way us fans do : (.
