This window is starting to feel like the client Dempsey one. When we tried to buy a load of players and got it horribly one.
Although in hindsight not a bad thing as didt Brendan offer Henderson in p ex for Dempsey lolol.

its the best window we have ever had if we secure VVD, he would have secured our top 2 targets which we were told were not for sale. Strengthened the squad massively and have players turning down the worlds best clubs to join us. Its a great time to be a red.

In terms of the last 10 years, I think this is the best squad assembled thus far at the start of the season, if you include both transfers of this summer till date (Solanke, Salah and Robertson) and internal promotions (TAA, Gomez, Woodburn, Kent etc) . And I am including the team of 2013/ 14. We are probably the same as the attack of that year (although being quicker and more incisive), but definitely better in midfield and defense in comparison to that team. More balanced, more options and more depth on the bench. If we are still letting in silly goals, I think it has to do more with setup and defensive tactics rather than personnel.
