One of the main ways to improve a team who is struggling is to either show your tactical knowledge and change tactics ( e. g highline and constant 4-3-3 ) also drop certain players who are not performing big reputation or not ( e. g salah trent hendo etc ) .
The other way to improve the team is by the transfer window and especially when you are smack bang in the middle of the window and the team is collapsed .
If klopp is not interested in these 2 priorities I don't want him as my manager an he has took the team as far as he can .

I think Trent has been our best player since the restart to be honest.

I agree with you AW. He has been much better defensively of late, except the last game. And offensively he seems to be the onle one who creates a chance. It's him or Nunez causing issues with his pace that are our only outlets at this time.
I think not having Nunez hurt us a lot yesterday. We had no threat in behind whatsoever.
And not to slight him, but Gakpo doesn't seem quick enough at all. I think he won't be suited to the LW role with us. Let's hope it's just lack of match sharpness though.

Klopp said he tried new tactics last game. Maybe your football knowledge is not high enough to notice them.

I can gaurantee you he is working on things and changes but these things don't happen over night.

Mentally and physically these players needed protecting especially after the games played last season and the mental stress after going so far and losing the big 2 cups we craved . Refreshing was priority to rest certain players or in the event of burn out which was inevitable but no planning no concern and here we are .

If we're trying new tactics then why don't we give 4-4-2 a go with TAA at RW, Gomez at RB, Gapko at LW, Nunez and Salah up front. Stick two DM in midfield to protect the defence a bit better and let the wingers and forwards take the game to the opposition? I'm no coach but what we're currently doing is clearly not working.

In an ideal world klopp, but unfortunately his philosophy does not fit with the desire and hunger of other teams who have caught us up now we are languishing. Plus he doesn't seem to have an answer to our slump all season by the way.
