Very true. The season isn't finished like a lot of people are hysterically saying it is. But the team do need to get their act together.

Oh yeah 4th is there to be had. Been saying all season people get too caught up on current form without looking at the bigger picture.
Arteta has been the new Klopp because of Arsenal’s form in the first half of the season and Klopp has been the new Arteta because of Liverpool’s.
We are now seeing just how difficult it is to maintain that level for a full season. Newcastle too. Spurs are being Spursy as usual and Utd are faultering. Chelsea don’t look like a team at all and even City look a shadow of themselves.
If we can get a run going we’ll jump up that table quicker than Howard Webb points to the penalty spot at Old Trafford.

4th is there to be had which is the most frustrating thing. Only problem is we haven’t shown anything that remotely resembles consistency. That’s the major worry. But if we can start winning games we can get top 4. Let’s win one game first then go from there.

This messy season may be a write off in many ways, yet it will allow Jurgen to sort the wheat from the chaff. All of the players are under scrutiny to earn their places in the squad and team going forward.
The big clear out is coming, maybe even Mo will get sold.

If we’d have signed one midfielder we’d have got 4th easy.
I genuinely believe if we’d have signed one in summer and again one in January we’d have walked the title this season.
We’ve thrown a premier league away in my opinion.

I didn’t say our current form was good WDW I was more saying that people don’t consider our last 5 years of good form and other teams last 5 years of poor form.
They just look at things as they are right now and say that’s how it will be forever now.
We know this team are more than capable they’ve been doing it for 5 years. Teams like Newcastle, Arsenal and Utd have only had a decent 4/ 5 months and are now struggling to maintain it.

LFC08, keep telling your self that one midfielder would make all the other players and coaches stop having disaster classes all season long and maybe one day, it will be true.

As for top 4 and all that the other lads have mentioned, it is what it is. We take it on the chin this season and move in. We blew it, simple as cos I don’t see how this team can put a run together to get top 4. I hope to the heavens I’m wrong BUT I can’t see it yet.
