MacAllister did ok I thought. Caicedo though?! Anyone willing to pay £70m for him needs to give their head a wobble.
I admit to not watching him much this season but Brighton have been on TV a few times over the past couple of weeks and I’ve made a point of watching him. There is nothing there that suggests to me he is any more than a £40m player at the very most.
Maybe he’s just been off form and played better earlier in the season or something because based on what I’ve seen someone is going to their pants well and truly pulled down if the pay what Brighton are asking for him.

@Beckers, I agree, once the ball starts tolling (excuse the pun) :about a player then everything they do is seen in a very positive light. An average game with one or two good touches sees them elevated to megastar status almost immediately and if then becomes impossible for them to do anything wrong - if they don’t track back then it’s lack of positional play by those around them, if they play a bad pass it’s the lack of awareness on the poor bloke expected to leg it for 60 yards when the ball’s upfield.
There are quite a few players who we be hailed as great signings (if they sign for us) and as great losses that we missed if they go somewhere else, when the truth is that they are all human and make mistakes - the problem with that being that they are then judged by people like me who has never made a single mistake, ever.

Absolutely WDW. It was Bissouma last season and look how that’s worked out.
I just can’t see anything special about Caicedo at all. He’s not particularly quick, not great on the ball, was backing out of challenges tonight, his passing was average.
Bajcetic will be a much better player.
