"LIVERPOOL are reportedly set to run the rule over Oxford United winger Marvin Johnson this weekend. " (Daily Star, 28th April)
Obviously a very unreliable tabloid, but can i ask if you have heard about this, as it seems like an incredibly odd story to make up. The player is 26 years old, playing in league one, and became a professional in 2015. They claim that Everton and Leicester will also have scouts this weekend?
Finding this all very bizarre

I think as it is known that most fans want changes the media and probably some agents are flooding the market with stories that LFC want to sign every player and half the ćlub mascots. Also noticeable that some questions about a player on here are almost immediately followed by rumours about him joining LFC in other places. Not going to get any less mental once the season ends.

I like the thought of signing an unknown late bloomer like that purely from the romantic perspective at least. I've never heard of him and know nothing about him and dodgy source too though. Apart from that sounds legit.
